I was skeptical at first, but these mower blade sharpeners work. In 10-15 minutes I sharpened my lawn mower blade that had deep pits and it was already dulling out. Using one of these I got a real sharp edge on the blade. This is faster than using a hand sharpener for knives, axes, and blades. I just wonder if I'm taking off too much of the metal ! Works well, quick and easy to use.

These work alright. They are not too aggressive so I had to still use a bench grinder to start the process. They work well as a touch-up or finishing grind but, again, not good for really dull blades.

complete junk. First it did not sharpen well at all. There isn't room enough between the plastic guide and the stone to fit the blade in far enough. The cheap plastic guide disintegrated within about 30 seconds. I went through all of them and my blade was still not sharp. What complete CRAP.

Several of the sharpening stones have considerable chunks out of the sharpening stone edges. Stones were loose and I hope a simple tightening of the screws hold the stones in place. 04/24 Downgraded review as stone broke to point it spun freely.
