I’ll just get this out of the way first: this grill has absolutely no business heating up this fast for the money. 😄 I own a Weber grill that cost over four times as much as this one, and somehow this budget-friendly stainless steel barbecue spaceship managed to hit 400°F in under 5 minutes and around 600°F in about 10 minutes. I stood there staring at the thermometer like it had personally insulted my financial decisions. Assembly was straightforward and surprisingly painless. The instructions were clear, the parts were organized well, and they even included a magnetic screwdriver so you’re not crawling through the grass looking for screws like a raccoon with a flashlight. Once assembled, the ignition system worked beautifully. Every burner, including the side burner, lights almost instantly. Turn the knob, hit the ignitor, and WHOOMP... instant fire. The burner knobs are also unusually smooth and precise. You can dial temperatures in very accurately instead of playing the usual “surface of the sun or slightly less than the sun” guessing game. Cooking performance is genuinely impressive. Heat distribution was good, the cast iron grates retained heat nicely, and the side burner is great for heating baked beans, sauces, or onions while grilling steaks. It really does feel like a full-featured backyard cooking station. Now for the honest part. The stainless steel construction looks nice, but it’s definitely thinner metal than premium grills like Weber. It’s not junk by any means, but you can tell where some of the cost savings happened. Also, the grill grates shown in the Amazon photos are a bit misleading. The listing pictures make them look like those thick, dramatic steakhouse-style grates with giant wide slats. In reality, the grates are more traditional round-bar style grates. Perfectly functional, but not what the photos suggest. I was also surprised that it didn’t include a grill cover. That feels like something that should have been included at this price point. As far as value goes, this is where things get interesting. Compared to grills sitting at Lowes, this grill actually feels priced a little higher than some comparable models. However, the ignition system, fast preheating, and smooth controls do make it feel slightly more refined in actual use than some cheaper store-floor models. Bottom line: this grill’s superpower is performance-per-dollar. It may not have the tank-like heaviness of a premium Weber, but it cooks shockingly well, heats up incredibly fast, and delivers a very enjoyable grilling experience. Keep it covered, clean it occasionally, and it should provide several years of solid service. In other words: it’s the guy wearing sneakers at the cookout who somehow outruns everybody in expensive running shoes. 🔥🥩🍔

Assembly took about 90 minutes using only the included tools. The grill was well packed with steel reinforcement in the shipping box and screwed on steel reinforcements to prevent damage during shipment. Ironically, the metal of the grill does have a few bends and warps but it looks like those were there from the factory. The assembly process is fairly simple but in the case of the side burner you are assembling the burner itself as well as mounting it. When assembled the whole thing feels OK. It does not feel especially strong or premium but it is a good working height and the controls are accessible. The side tables are handy. The grill surface itself is not especially large but it's good enough for 3-4 people. Overall it feels like it will work but it doesn't feel fancy. The cooking grates are enameled steel and fairly thin. There is a warming rack, and three heat zones for control. The stand looks from the front like a cabinet, but the back and sides are open making it safer for the propane bottle. There is a hole for setting the base of the propane tank into and a clamp to lock it in place. There isn't really much hose management so the hose runs off to the side burner and then back under the cart which doesn't look great but is fine. Use: On first firing the grip up, it emits a variety of unpleasant odors as the shipping oils burn off. I let that happen, and the cooked some basic 1/4lb burgers. Nothing fancy, just test burgers. The grill heats up quickly and is capable of browning burgers if you are careful to preheat and be careful of when you open the lid. This is consistent with most gas grills and I think it works better than many of the grills I've tried. The four burners on a fairly small grill means you can produce a fair amount of heat if every burner is cranked. Note that the warming rack had enough heat to toast buns in about the time burger patties take to cook. That's convenient because you can stage some buns on the warming rack, start some burgers, and have everything ready at about the same time. It's good for roughly 3 burgers at once with this approach, but you can increase that to 6 or so patties at once if you aren't concerned about the buns. Overall, this grill feels a bit flimsy, and for example if it's on a surface that isn't level the doors get jammed because the stand flexes, but it works better than it feels.

Let me start by saying this is a really nice BBQ Grill. Very easy to build, and the build is solid. Everything seems tight and well put together. No flimsy parts or wobbly anything. I was able to build by myself, but 2 people would have made some tasks a little easier. 4 burners in the grilling area are very nice and have gotten this as hot as 700 Degrees. Has an easy-to-read thermostat on the top of the grill cover. 4 independently adjustable burners make this great for cooking different things at the same time. Also has a nice burner on the side to either cook or boil. I like that the burner has a fold-down cover, so when you're not using it, you have more table space. Grill grates are always the weak spot on grills, and these are solid and look well-made, and were easy to clean. The grill has 4 casters, which make it easy to move on the deck, and it is super helpful. The doors on the bottom expose the propane storage area that has a screw lock to secure your tank and enough space to store tools. Also, the sides of the end tables have small hooks to hang tools, which is convienent. All in all this is a really nice grill.

This grill was very well packaged to stand the potential harsh shipping conditions. I was glad to find that none of the parts were damaged. Some minor flaws, but I think this was a factory and not caused by shipping. These flaws are very minor and will blend in from normal use within a few weeks of use. This rating is based on the fact that is not a premium grill and I knew that from the start. Had I expected a premium level grill, then I'd have to give it a lower rating. But I think it is a good value for the money. It's not built rock solid, but it looks good and of decent quality. Most importantly is the ability to cook and this grill does a good job. It has a decent heat distribution. You will find some hot spots, which I've found to be present in almost every grill. It's just one of those things you have to get used to and learn how to best cook on it over time. But it can produce some very tasty steaks! And the best part of grilling is the easy clean up. Just crank up the heat and scrap it all clean, done. It's a decent size grill with plenty of room on the racks for my needs. Of course, check out the product listing to make sure you can fit everything you typically want to cook or it will be very frustrating. Plus, think about your storage area. Will it fit or will it be left outside all year round. If your storing it outside, then remember it doesn't come with a cover, so that would be an extra purchase. Enjoy it!

This 4-burner gas grill is a well-made, solid quality outdoor grill. I had to assemble and attach the stand and side extensions, but the instructions were well written and it was a simple task. It even comes with a magnetic screwdriver to make it easy to hold onto the screws. Once I put it together, I first tested the electronic ignition, which worked great. Each burner, including the side burner, has its own ignitor and ignites almost instantly as soon as the ignitor button is pushed after the gas knob is turned to high. The gas knobs are extremely smooth turning and allow for very fine temperature control. I was able to heat the grill up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit in less than 4 minutes and to 600 degrees in 8.5 minutes, which is faster than my 4 burner Weber grill that costs more than 4 times as much. The construction is not nearly as heavy duty as a Weber grill. It is stainless steel, but it's very thin stainless steel, and the pictures of the grates in the Amazon listing show heavy duty grates with very wide slats, but in reality, it comes with more tradition grates with the round bars that are about 3/8ths of an inch in diameter, so the pics in the listing are a little deceptive, which is why I knocked off one star. I was also surprised that it didn't come with a grill cover. I had to buy one (55x40x22 size fit perfectly), but it was only $20. It should have come with the grill. If the grill is kept covered when not in use, and is cleaned periodically, it should last for several years. As far as value, when compared to comparable grills at the big box home improvement stores, this grill seems to be priced pretty high, at more than 25% more than similar grills that are immediately available at the stores. I will say that the controls on this grill are very smooth and seem maybe a bit better, but I'm not sure that it justifies that much difference in price.
