I did like this product for the most part (a little loud, a little annoying to fill, ice storage is pretty small, and ice melts relatively quickly once made- but was worth dealing with those inconveniences) UNTIL it just stopped making ice in LESS THAN A YEAR. I contacted the company to resolve this because surely a $200 product should be covered to last at least a year, right? NOPE. They told me the WARRANTY IS ONLY 6 MONTHS and that the item is defective and all they can do is offer me less than $10 off my next purchase. Seriously, I would have been better off purchasing TWO 10lb bags of ice EVERY WEEK for a year for the same price as this trash If the company only warranties their products for 6 months, that is a good indicator of how long they expect their item to last. We had an ice machine that we loved, but opted to replace it for a different one, thinking it might be even better! We gave away the first, made room for this one, and only experienced a few days of wonderful ice. The ice began to dwindle to smaller and smaller pieces of ice, despite following all directions in the manual. It currently “thinks” it’s making ice - it’s “working” - filling the ice tray with water, “freezing” it, and then dumping the imaginary non existent ice into the ice bin, while really what is happening is it’s tossing water back and forth. Even the display face says it’s making ice, and dispensing it - there are no error messages. I’m disappointed, because we had a good thing and sacrificed it for THIS one. It’s only been 12 days and I would’ve complained sooner but I’ve been sick for weeks! Update: seller provided a full refund without even requiring that we go through the hassle of returning the product. I was so disappointed - but I am definitely appreciative of the ease of this process. I did not request a refund necessarily, but am pleased with the service I received and the unexpected refund. I have seen other positive reviews which influenced my order, so perhaps it was just a fluke to have received a faulty machine. Thank you to the company for your help and service. ... show more

This thing is great for the price. Even though we have to fill the tank ourselves- we have a water cooler in the garage with filtered water and I just fill up a jug and use that to fill the tank. Holds about 8 cups each time. Usually gave to refill once a day. The ice is really nice- we’ve been using the small setting and I love how it crunches. Ha ha we use it only to dispense/make ice and then I fill the cup with water using our other cooler so the machine is only being utilized for the ice function. It’s a little loud but I don’t mind. Our last Costway we bought in June 2020 and we like it but this new 2 in1 caught our attention so we ordered it. It arrived early but even unpacking it we were disappointed.     • Just not worth the money

Cleaning this ice maker is difficult at best. Many hard to reach areas. Not to mention many parts come easily undone. Had to disassemble to fix drain line. Owned for 3 years and suddenly just stopped working. Had been declining in performance and quality of ice since the first year.
