Ordered these thinking they were the regular Elites, not knowing the pro-guard was different. These have thick foam type padding that look like they are made for walking around in, maybe even a short parking lot walk if you get ready in the car. I prefer the regular ones that work great for drying and protecting blades in transport, or banging around in your bag. ... show more

They run small, I have Bauer skates size 10 and I got the XL and they are a perfect fit. I originally bought L and they fit but way too snug even though it says up to size 6-10. Thus, if you are size 12-13 I would get the XXl, etc. Size up if your size is on the higher end of the suggested sizing. The description is inaccurate and said will fit size 6- 10 but they did not even fit the size 9 I have and would have been dangerous to try and force it too (because the sharpness of the skate blade)

It would be nice if they had sewn the rubber grip protector on straight instead of off center and it would be nice if it covered the heel part so it doesn’t wear out faster and dirty. Doesn’t seem Elite. Seems mediocre. We will see how long it lasts.
