Due to some of the mixed reviews concerning this item I waited to post a review and have been very happy with the item after one year of ownership. 1. Some users noted a strong odor emitting from fryer after several uses. I am not sure if that's an isolated incident; however, my unit has not experienced any odors after one year of use. I typically wipe the inside of the unit down after use with just a wet cleaning cloth. 2. Perfect size for 1 to 2 people. Small footprint and takes up very little counter space. 3. Easy operation, pre-heats quickly, and the digital controls make it easy to set and forgot plus adds a higher end look than the actual cost of the appliance. The digital front panel control allows it to better match other appliances you may currently own. 4. The solid build quality is another added bonus as the unit does not sit flat on counter allowing better breathing and has numerous air vents around the sides to allow hot air to exhaust. Internal motor is quiet ... not silent operation but is not obtrusive if you are in the same room. Oven door has a solid feel upon opening or closing 5. Feature wise there are several settings fryer, broil, roast, reheat etc. 6. Very convenient item and well worth the price might be one of my best purchases under $100 ever. 7. Single? Party of 2? forgot to lay out frozen food go from frozen to fully cooked in 22 minutes or less with dry rubbed or light oil spray coat and then season will let you cook an entire meal in 30 minutes or less. 8. added value - rotisserie and spinning basket - frozen sweet potato fries, tater tots, seasoned fries etc. come out perfectly cooked and ready to serve - nice and crispy just like a deep fryer Final Verdict - there are a lot of choices out there and I can only speak to this one. Well worth the money and has features that allow this unit to punch well above its weight class. I use it on a regular basis in fact it has basically replaced the use of the range except for maybe creation of some side dishes. I love it so much I am thinking about getting the next model up which is larger and has a double tray system allowing the completion of a complete meal using one easy appliance. I can't express how delighted we are after 2 weeks with this Air Fryer Oven! WE bought this to replace an old toaster oven. We did not have room for a separate air fryer and decided to go with this compact unit for toasting and air frying. We also bought a Cosori oven wire rack which we use for making toast. We make toast, using slices of French baguette bread, on the wire rack and my wife and I both love the way the toasted bread tastes - very light and crispy but not dried out. As someone who had burned toast in the old toaster oven on more occasions than I want to admit, I particularly appreciate the automatic functions with the Toast function of the machine, shutting off when the toast is done. This model of air fryer oven has a rotisserie basket. We have used the basket to cook potatoes and other vegetables. The rotisserie basket, which turns slowly, avoids the need, with other air fryers, to shake the basket holding vegetables during the cooking process. We use parchment paper in the air fryer when cooking fish or other items, usually on the food tray that we put under the air fryer tray. The User Manual states clearly that one must be careful with parchment paper as "Air circulation can cause paper to move and touch heating elements." My only complaint with the material that came with the air fryer oven is that there is no guidance on the size of parchment paper that one should use in the air fryer oven. ... show more

My wife didn’t want another appliance on the counter. She eventually agreed the large built-in convection oven used a lot of energy and took a lot of time to heat up. I told her that this multi-function air fryer was a great size. We received it and placed it where the toaster had been. We have been trying different recipes in the Cosori cookbook provided. Pre-heating is optional but it is so quick, it’s no big deal and allows the trays to get hot also. When it beeps, we open door and use long tongs to place food on trays. I find if you use air fryer tray (versus food tray which is solid), you should place solid food tray either under it on same level or at another level below. That way drippings go onto lower tray which is super easy to clean. If the food looks cooked before default time, just use up/down arrows to right to modify. Read instructions if you want to change a default time or temp for future cooking. Frankly, the toast function was better than are previous toaster and was evenly toasted across the bread/bagel. The steak recipe (Perfect Steak) was easy and tasty. 10 minutes and my 1” thick steaks were done. Of course, let steak rest for 5 minutes before serving. Contrary to some comments by others, the way we use bottom food tray, we have not had issue with tray at base getting burnt looking. After meal, I clean everything and all look brand new. Cleaning is so easy. Haven’t used rotisserie or dehydrate yet but should not be a problem. All easy to use and adjust for all cooking methods. So glad we finally are cooking healthier, faster, and with less energy being used…versus monster oven. ... show more

Nice little oven. Usually baking small items, no bigger than an 8 by 8 pan, ( empty nesters here). I tried it for toast, and loved how crunchy and crispy it made it. Browns nicely. I was initially worried it might get too hot, because it sits in a close sitting appliance row, but it’s just mildly warm and cools down quickly. My cornbread baked nicely, rose nicely, but got so brown on top I needed to cover it with foil, so I need to tinker with the settings or lower the Fahrenheit a little I like that the bake function has a preheat. . I enjoy that the light turns on the last minute of cooking. Works very well, at a reasonable price, and best of all won’t heat up my kitchen when summer hits. Now to buy a tiny cookie sheet…….. ... show more
