First day, first impression (4/30/25). After cleaning my new air fryer for first time use, I decided to cook a few things I normally fire up the oven to cook. A baked potato and a bone in pork chop. I cooked the potato first and it took about 10 min less than the oven. Pork chop was about 5 min less than oven. To my surprise, the time difference wasn't the best part. The baked potato was the fluffiest baked potato I've ever had. I don't recall ever having a baked potato so good from the oven. The pork chop from my oven which usually turns out dry was very juicy from the air fryer. I don't know what magic this thing does, but I'm really impressed so far. Controls are easy to use and basket is easy to wash. Surprisingly very quiet as well when cooking. I consider this a good value item for the price. This is the fourth - yes, fourth - air fryer I have owned. I had a great basket style one from instant pot, but decided to upgrade to a fancy Breville machine - the $350 Breville display broke after three months of use (thank you to Amazon for issuing a refund). I then bought a Ninja basket air fryer and it was LOUD - not just from the air/fan, but it rattled like crazy - and that was on the first day I purchased it. The buttons on it also felt very cheap and likely not to withstand years of use. I will return it. This air fryer caught my eye as I own a Cosori electric water kettle that is going strong after almost 10 years. The air fryer is of equal quality and QUIET (no rattling). It's a keeper! The air fryer works well and looks great on the counter, but the basket was smaller than I thought. It’s fine for 1–2 people, but not ideal for larger portions or batch cooking. Also, I was surprised at how expensive the replacement basket is—it feels like it should be more reasonably priced. Bought it because of its price and color. Don't judge. Working well. Make sure to get the right during paper inserts. Forget the silicon for smaller items. It is dangerous, as you'll want to make yourself midnight feasts.
