I love these brushes. They work great on straight hair - for styling, blow drying. You may need a different brush like a boar's hair brush to work products into your hair evenly or to put some shine in your hair. This is my 4th or 5th Cricket brush in a row which means I've been using this for near 20 years. The product quality has never wavered. All my brushes have lasted about five years or so. When the little red beads start to fall off (around year 3) you know you'll need to replace it, in a year or three.

I love this little brush and use it all the time. I got two to replace the two that have finally worn out (bristle ends are coming off) after years of use.
