I'm 5'2" and have my desk chair at the tallest height and the addition of this converter leaves my elbows pretty bent instead of at 90 degrees as recommended when resting on the keyboard tray. Pictured the converter is in it's absolute lowest position and now there's two inches between the desk and the keyboard tray. I probably should have seen this coming and will just move a different chair with a taller option into this room, but thought other not-tall people should be aware as well. Add a booster seat to the cart now lol. Also the measurements picture doesn't make it super clear that the keyboard tray does jut out past the base (obviously - I should have realized this) a little over six inches. So just take that into account when measuring the desk it's going on. Makes getting to a drawer underneath a little awkward. Others have stated this but after you reach the lowest position if you continue pushing the down arrow it will tilt backwards a little bit so you have to be careful. The material doesn't look or feel cheap, the mechanism moves smoothly, and it was 12 screws to put together. Hardest part was carrying the box up the stairs. ... show more

Great stand up desk with electric motors. Very sturdy and easy to use. No messing with levers or the desk jerking when lowering or raising. Nice smooth movement up and down with the push of a button. I have a large 42" tv as my monitor!

I am a senior and putting this together was difficult just due to the weight and bulk of the 2 main pieces. I was overjoyed when I finally got it put together, my two monitors all wired up to my docking station and the desk would go up and down. The 2nd day in use, the desk raised up and just stayed there. Checked all the cords, etc. Can't get it to come back down. Called Vivo support and they said they would be sending me a new control box and emailing instructions on how to rewire my desk with that. I'm 65 and I am not up to this. Can't manufacturers just make a good product that will work the first time and for a long time??? UPDATE: The same thing happened a 2nd time with new control box they told me to install!! The electrical portion of this desk may have been extremely poor, but when I came back to VIVO again with the same problem, their customer service staff (both on the phone and via email) was absolutely great!!! ... show more
