I was really on the fence about whether we needed an air fryer. I am really happy with my choice on this one. For basic things like nuggets and fries, my 8-year-old is able to use it, and everyone is happier with crispier foods than the microwave produces. I have roasted veggies in it and they've come out delicious. Sometimes the temperatures and times on bags of prepared foods, or in the guidebook seem a bit long, overcooking the food. So I have learned to watch carefully the first time I prepare something and note what works best. Capacity is good for how we use it, but probably not if I wanted to cook a 2-course meal for my family of 5. Clean up is a snap. The bottom "grill" plates do require a bit of force to remove for cleaning, but I expect over time they are more likely to loosen. ... show more

THIS is an absolute dream!! I LOVE this and use it all the time, sometimes a couple times a day. It produces very well cooked items and it is a WHOLE LOT less expensive to run than an oven and A LOT faster. My favorite things are the roasted vegetable, they ALWAYS turn out amazing and in about 12 minutes and they are perfect and delicious. I spent hours researching, comparing and reading reviews. I went with the hype and picked this. I so much want to love this but I haven’t quite made up my mind if I’m keeping this or not. Today, I will give it 3.5 stars. I have it for 11 days now. It’s supposed to be a replacement for my Instant Pot Vortex Pro air fryer of 4 years. It actually still works great but it is starting to look old. I purchased some disposable liners and some washable silicone baskets to use with this to help reduce the washing and wear & tear. The liners are great. The baskets are okay, just don’t preheat these silicone baskets empty. Also, I think the silicone baskets affect how the food cooks versus on just the liner that is breathable or where air can circulate better. I read the manual and watched a couple of YouTube videos on how to use this air fryer. I pre-washed the baskets then I tested it empty, per instructions, hardly any smell. I then air fried using sync finish - 2 different food with different temp and time requirements. They preheat and ready to cook at the same time. The basket with less cooking time shut off once done while the other continued to cook. The other basket also shut off when cooking time got done. Meaning you can serve both food together and warm. I also tried the “sync cook” - this is for cooking 2 types off food with the same temps and time duration. I then cooked 2 rib eye steaks using just 1 basket. You really need to flip or 1 side will look like it was steamed. Another option is purchase one of those wire rack to elevate whatever you are cooking so it is closer to the heating element. These are the features I like about this air fryer: 2 year warranty, quiet enough, window to see the cooking progress without pulling out the baskets. dual basket for cooking 2 different food at the same time, decent size individual baskets, cooking in just 1 basket or option to cook on both baskets at the same time, synch finish and sync cook options. Here’s what I don’t like about this: pre-heat is 6 minutes long, air fried food is kind of soggy unless you cook longer, buttons on top instead of the front, feels like not powerful enough, and large footprint on the counter (although I knew that prior to my purchase). For future updates, it would be nice to have it as stainless exterior instead of plastic. Also, dual blaze so no shaking/flipping required and likely faster cooking. And of course, pre-setting buttons for fish, chicken, fries, etc. would also be nice. I know, I want too many features in one. 😂 If I decide not to keep this, I might just go with an identical Instant Pot Vortex Pro that I already have, I will just have 2 on my counter side by side to use - for sure they cook faster, shorter pre-heat, hardly need to flip or shake the food, and I have to typically cook lower temps than what instructions say to not burn the food, that’s how powerful it is. I added a photo here for size comparison. I’ll try Cosori for another week and see if I can live with the stuff that I don’t like about it. ... show more
