  • Great performance! Heatsink IS easily removable! Just wish there was a 4TB option!
I am not sure why so many reviews say that they were unable to remove the heatsink, all you have to use it a card and pop off one side at a time. The performance is great! I have it paired with a MSI PRESTIGE X570 CREATION and a AMD 3950X. As of now I only have one and use it for my OS drive, video production, and virtual machines. This is pretty much overkill for gaming. For a way better value, you are better off using a SATA based SSD with 3D Nand Flash for gaming but to each their own. My only complaint is that I wish there was a 4TB option as I use a lot of storage for virtual machines and video production. I will definitely be picking up a second one to put into my MSI PRESTIGE X570 CREATION motherboard but am only holding off for now to wait for a potential 4TB variant. ... show more

  • Yes. Just get it.
Presentation was below par, but was enough that it works and wasn't damaged. Since I only got the 500gb, the price could have been a tad lower. But it suffices being new and performing as well as it does. Having been set to be my boot drive, and my primary games launcher, it works phenomenally. Boot time is under 20 seconds every time. My games I have loaded on it load much faster than anything I've ever seen or used. The 5gb/s claim surely proves itself with ease. More than easy to install. In fact. So easy. I wasnt sure the first couple times I plugged it in, if it was even actually plugged in. It didn't make the same click as most other 3rd gen m.2 ssd's do. It made more of a slip in noise. Yet it works perfectly, so I know it was installed correctly 😁. 10/10 recommended if you have the extra dollars to spend. Make sure you make it your boot drive. Load time is insane. ... show more

  • Works great at 5400MB/s in PS5
Style: MP600 CORE Capacity: 2000GB
Working great in my PS5! The 2TB model gave results a little over 5400MB/s in the automatic PS5 test at installation. It is slightly below recommended minimum speed of 5500MB/s, but I do not believe this tiny difference will ever be noticeable. I did need to create a cover for the slot as the metal cover would not fit due to the size of the heatsink. I used carefully cut wide thick tape. I carved the edges of the tape with a sharp knife for a perfect fit; making sure to keep all airflow slots clear. This allows airflow to work identically to the metal plate. I have found this SSD to be considerably faster and more reliable than the several external USB 3.1 SSD drives I tried to use on my PS5 prior to this. I can now safely leave my PS5 in sleep mode and it will do automatic updates and downloads without errors or “rebuilds”. EDIT: December 28th, 2021: Still working great after more than 3 months of heavy use in my PS5. ... show more

  • Absolutely Goofy Results with RAID 0
NOTE: Attached photo is with RAID 0 and FOUR of these. Do not expect this with a single NVME. I just recently upgraded to a Z690 board with a 12th Gen CPU and one of the perks of that was having 4 PCIe 4.0 slots for M.2. So what better way to use them by going with 4x500GB MP600 in RAID 0. The result is 1.8TB drive for my OS and games, and the highest CrystalDiskMark results I've had personally. Would it be better to go with a 2TB M.2 instead? Eh maybe. Was this fun to do? Yes definitely. As for the MP600 itself, great little NVME drive and was reasonably priced at the time of purchase. I would definitely recommend it. I've also used the Samsung and Sabrent drives, they all seem to be pretty good so my recommendation is to go with whatever is on sale. ... show more

  • Great product with best performance
Overall: Great product with lightning fast read/writes. This thing FLIES compared to your standard SSD. I've never had such a fast hard drive in my two decades of building computers. Pros: - Lightning fast read/write speeds. For once my hard drive can keep up with my network when it comes to downloads - NVMe had no problem being recognized in BIOS as a boot devices - Super quiet and cool operation - Easy removal of the heat sink as you can see in my case I had to remove it to put it under the built in motherboard heatsink for the area Cons: - The heatsink was too thick to fit under my motherboards built in heat shield but this isn't an uncommon occurrence and isn't really technically a con for me. ... show more

  • Fast and easy to install
Got this for boot drive on an Intel gen 11 install. It is fast but I don't know it's significantly faster then PCI 3.0. Putting off getting a GPU until pricing comes back to earth and hope the heat sink won't get in the way.

  • The Corsair quality storage solution we've been waiting for is here
Style: MP600 CORE Capacity: 4000GB
This gen4 nvme is incredibly fast. Immediately noticeable over SSD. Windows boots so fast (3-4 seconds after bios) that I have to wait for my WiFi card to connect and I get a errors from Steam and Nord being offline. It's advertised speeds are honest if you can afford it, but now I have to buy a better WiFi card... It doesn't overheat after large transfers. Also, 4tb at this speed is really something else. PCIx16 adapters are cheap, get one if you don't have an m.2 slot. Make sure you have the latest bios update if you go that route! ... show more
