Description

The Cordoba 25T-CE embodies the charm of traditional ukulele ornamentation combined with the striking natural figure of Acacia, an exotic Tropical wood closely related to koa, the beloved tone wood native to Hawaii. This Tenor size ukulele features a solid exotic Acacia top and figured Acacia back and sides, providing a bright, round and familiar voice. The 25T-CE represents the very roots of the ukulele itself, incorporating a wooden rope-style top binding with a herringbone rosette and tie block, hearkening to the old-world origins of the instrument. Other features include a thinly applied satin finish, bone nut and saddle, and Aquila strings, appealing to discerning customers who are shopping for a tasteful and authentic ukulele. The 25T-CE is equipped with Cordoba's active pickup system with volume, treble and bass controls. 25 series ukuleles are also available in sizes including soprano, concert, and Tenor.

    • It’s soooo pretty!!!
Size: Tenor Cutaway Electric
This is a beautiful instrument made with excellent craftsmanship. I wanted to upgrade from a starter concert Uke to a tenor and stay within the $150-$250 range. After a lot of research, I finally chose the Cordoba. The sound is full and rich. The quality, evident. The action on this Uke is a little high and may be a little more difficult to play out of the box, particularly if you are a beginner. I took mine to my local guitar/Uke shop and they lowered the action for me. Now it’s perfect and so much fun to play. In all, it’s a great value, sounds lovely and is so pretty I’d display it on my wall as art. ... show more

    • Sounds great and the strings stay in tune
Size: Tenor Cutaway Electric
Sounds great and the strings stay in tune. I've never played a really expensive uke, so I can't say how they play/sound, but this sounds great for my basic noodling, and strumming. I've had cheaper ones that lost their tune quickly, but this one has been in tune since day 1. If you're a casual player, this is a GREAT instrument to add to your collection. If you're a beginner, this would make a solid investment that you won't have to replace for years and years. ... show more

    • excellent tone
Size: Tenor Cutaway Electric
I am really loving the tone on it. I had no problems with this ukulele. It plays really well. The wood is gorgeous and has a really nice and mellow sound to it. I selected this ukulele after watching many videos on youtube from people who were testing the instruments. Out of the others in this price range, this was the one I liked the best. It's a personal choice, so take your time listening to videos :) ... show more

    • Excellent Uke
Size: Tenor Cutaway Electric
This tenor ukulele is well-made, has a lovely sound, and plays smoothly. It's definitely a step up from my Ibanez (also an acoustic-electric tenor cutaway). I swapped the high G string for a low G string and got a strap button drilled in, and now it's perfect. I play it all the time.

    • Sprouts Equals Ouch!!!
Size: Tenor Cutaway Electric
Very disappointed. I ordered the uke knowing the reputation of Cordoba. The frets had “sprouted” and were very painful. Unfortunately, I had to return the first one and the second because of the same issue. Please note, a Cordoba representative did let me know that they could send one from the factory but it wouldn’t be ready until mid-June ( it was ordered in April and I was anxious to receive it,) so I declined the offer. ... show more

    • Tuner machine broken on “C” string, I had to buy new
Size: Tenor Cutaway Electric
Received with tuning machine broken on “C” string. Cordoba will not warranty that part so I had to purchase the part and have it installed. Will never buy a Cordoba product again, should of purchased a Kala ukulele they are the best. Serge
