I've only had this for a couple days but I wanted to write a review to tell people how great it is. I've been using a waterpik for years but wanted to switch to one that had the water reservoir on the bottom. Waterpik's water reservoir attaches on the side. Although it was certainly not a health issue as it was not inside the reservoir, green algae would grow between the unit and the outside of the reservoir as water would get in between there. I just didn't like that. Comparing this unit to my waterpik, this unit is awesome! There's no comparison. I've read some reviews from other people that said the same thing. This unit is pretty powerful, a considerable number of pulses/minute (or however that's measured) but not so much so that it hurts my gums. I'm using it on the normal setting. It's very smooth running and pretty quiet. I love the fact that the reservoir is easy to take off and clean. It's great there's a filter for the water. The size of the reservoir is more than adequate. I can't speak to charge life. But I can say the unit only took several hours for it to fully charge. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is thinking of buying.

This is a really nice hydro flosser. I had purchased another brand in the same price range, but that unit stopped working after about 2 weeks. After returning that unit, I purchased this one instead. What I like: The modes are explained in the booklet along with PSI, so you know the difference in strength for all the modes and you can choose accordingly. Since I had used the previous flosser for a couple weeks, I tried the Pulse mode first. It's a bit more powerful setting than I was using previously, but it is very tolerable. My teeth feel really clean and my gums get a nice workout. The power and the mode buttons are on the front of the unit, so you have to take a bit of care not to change the mode inadvertently while using the unit. The good news is, for the most part, the mode changes to a lower power setting (except for going from Soft to Pulse which is a higher setting) if you do happen to hit the mode button while in use. I use the hydro flosser while bent over the sink and keep my mouth almost closed which limits the amount of water that splashes around. The tank is large enough to do two complete passes over all my teeth, front and back, before the water runs out. I put a bit of hydrogen peroxide in the tank with the water. If you send the seller an email with your Amazon order # within 7 days of purchase, you will get a 3 year warranty. That's pretty great given the fact that I don't think this unit will last 3 years :) What I don't like about it: The opening to fill the water tank is pretty small. There is no way to get all the water out of the tank. It will not drain out of the opening, and if you take the tank off, there is a lip all the way around the top of the tank which prevents you from pouring the water out of the tank that way. I have to stick a paper towel or the corner of the hand towel into the tank to soak up the remaining water in the tank before putting it back on, leaving the fill door open, and storing the unit between uses. It comes with the USB cable but no charging unit. All in all, I'm happy with the product and my teeth look and feel amazing.

I love having multiple pressure settings and multiple nozzle options. Depending on how thorough I want to be, I occasionally have to refill the water tank twice to floss both my top and bottom teeth thoroughly. I don’t mind, but it might be a hassle for some. It’s also kind of hard to use without making a small mess, but I think that’s pretty universal to any handheld water flosser. I don’t mind but if you did, you could probably use it in the shower to make clean up easier. The battery lasts a solid amount of time too. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase.

We’ve been using oral irrigator for a week and have been pleased. It appears to be made of solid quality materials, has multiple pressure options, strong water flow, easy to operate and convenient all in one features. Because it’s an all in one unit it’s a bit bulky and heavy when initially filled with water, but you adapt to it after a few uses. The positive spin on an all in one and rechargeable unit is it takes up less room on the countertop or when stored underneath.

Excellent item! I hesitated to respond to product review shortly after I received this Smart Oral Irrigator only because I had ordered and received from other companies including Water Pic similar needed items over the past year or so, portable battery run remover of dental residue and they faled after several uses. Motor, battery problems. From the beginning this handy item worked perfectly and I waited 5 weeks before writing this. I am very saatisfied with it and it has several more features to choose from in speed, pressure, etc. Rechargeable battery can take an overnight to charge but then stays effective for days. I have had to charge 2, maybe 3 times total, and none of the times was the battery near "drained." I highly recommend this irrigator which, registered, comes with a 3 year warranty as well. My dental hygienist recommended that I use a water flosser. I finally bought one but really had no idea what I was doing. My first attempt using the flosser was a learning experience...I should floss in the shower or outdoors. The water comes out quickly and I ended up needing a towel afterwards for both myself and the counter. The spray is quite strong even on the lowest setting. I haven't gotten the courage to try a higher setting yet. The tank is easy to refill and recharging is also easy with the included USB cord.

I enjoy this product, once I bought the correct cord and charger needed to charge it. The product should have come with them. However, the Customer Service Department was extremely helpful in guiding me as to which ones to buy. It does the job of a water pick very well. I am happy to have it and enjoy using it.
