They are pretty comfortable which is always a gamble for me with boots that i haven't tried on. These boots came with extra insoles. I put them in under the stock insole and the fit was perfect. The comfort level is somewhere between running shoe and house shoes. I wish this manufacturer didn't cause so much chaos and confusion with their absurd sizing of these boots. I've unwillingly "caroused" through three different sizes from my regular size, and the one I'm wearing now, still feels cavernous and stretchy! Common, get it right! It's been two weeks back and forth buying and returning these boots, because no matter what size I ordered, they were too big. It's frustrating and ridiculous! Other than that, the appearance of the boots are very impressive, and, although the soles don't feel as thick as my other work boots, they are pretty comfortable. UPDATE: Because of the amazing quality and comfort of these boots, I have forgiven the manufacturer's sizing anomalies. The insoles feel supple and there is more than adequate support when walking and going about my day, with no pain or discomfort after several hours. ... show more

Love these boots, don’t let the price fool you. There’s nothing cheap about them. They are my 1st pair of steel toe boots and my 1st day wearing them was a 12 hour day, the comfort is on point and they look great on feet. The toe box is roomy and they didn’t have to be broken in, I normally wear a 10.5 but followed Amazon’s advice and got them in a size 10. Perfect Fit !! ... show more

I tried on several pairs of name brand boots before I decided to go with these - and I’m glad I did. Most comfortable boots I’ve ever owned, and they look good too. I will definitely be buying again in the future.

Purchased as a gift for my adult son. He immediately raved about the unbelievable comfort of the insole. Yet within a minute was complaining about the top of his foot and ankle. When we examined them, the tongue is clearly sewn in a very constrictive way compared to the left boot.
