This is great for someone older who can't easily get up from a lying position. Dad's pretty still. One knee barely straightens. He pulls himself up using this. Love it. It's a huge help! He used to scream my name to get upright. This is a win!

    • Works fairly well.
The legs will not stay in place and slide up. All it has is a twist lock and no matter how tight you get it the leg slides up. You may need to add a clamp to it to stay. They should add a slip button lock adjustable so it won't move. The motion light is nice but if you rattle it , it will change setting. Charge could be longer too. But it does fit and do what it should. Needs some upgrades. ... show more

I bought this for my 74 y/o mother who fell and broke her neck. She lost some use of her right arm. This bed rails has made her help keep some of her independence. She is able to get up and down on her own. Definitely a good buy!!
