This review is for a Waterproof Fabric Shower Curtain Liner and the one I picked is white on top and dark gray along the bottom. It’s made of cloth, it’s soft, and lightweight with bottom magnets to hold it in place. It has a waterproof coating, so it dries quickly, washes well and I haven’t seen any mold starting like your standard plastic liner. I love this shower curtain! It’s fabric so it has a touch of elegance. It’s not plastic or stiff or the kind of shower curtain that fights and grabs you as you enter and exit the shower. The curtain is weighted with sturdy magnets which helps it to hang well and also hold onto the tub if you have an old fashioned metal tub; like we do. It dries quickly and doesn’t get moldy. The only reason that I’ve had to replace is because the town that we live in, is ancient with water service that carries the rust of two centuries through our pipes. Unfortunately that tends to stain the bottom edge and even though this shower curtain is easily washed; nothing seems to get out the rust stains. Fortunately, since this is reasonably priced, I can replace it when the rust stains the bottom. The selection is great and until our town gets updated water pipes; I’ll be trying out the different colors. I highly recommend this shower curtain. ... show more

    • Why Did I Wait So Long to Switch to a Fabric Shower Liner?!

Honestly, I really, really like this shower curtain liner. I don’t know why I never thought about getting a waterproof fabric liner before! For years, I always purchased the plastic-style shower curtain liners, and I would even spend extra money trying to get the better-quality ones. No matter what, though, they always seemed to get dingy and eventually needed to be replaced. I’ve had this ALYVIA SPRING fabric liner for about two months now, and I’m extremely happy with it. At this point, it could probably use a good wash, but that is exactly what I love about it—I can simply put it in the washing machine, clean it, and have it looking fresh again instead of throwing it away and buying another one. The fabric feels soft, substantial, and very good quality. It also looks much more luxurious and expensive than a typical plastic shower liner. I really like the extra-long 72x90 size as well, and the magnets at the bottom help keep it in place while showering. Overall, this has been such a great purchase, and I honestly don’t see myself going back to regular plastic liners again. Highly recommend! ... show more

This is a decent shower curtain liner. It keeps the water from getting out of the shower, and the magnets at the bottom help keep it in place. However, the mold-resistance property is not as great as I would've liked. In 2 years, I've purchased 3 of them, as the mold will build up. Even with washing, it gets stained. There's no odor or other issues, it's purely cosmetic. And the blue or grey bottom helps disguise it. So, based on the price, I think it's a good value; I appreciate the color on the bottom and keep buying them as replacements when the bottom part gets too discolored. ... show more

This is the third time I’ve ordered this shower curtain and I am very happy with it every time! We have hard water that sometimes causes rust stains so I change the curtain frequently. This curtain has sturdy grommets with are easy to slide onto my metal S shaped hooks. The material is a light fabric that hangs well behind the decorative outer curtain and it has magnets along the bottom hem which will hold it in place if magnets are compatible with your tub. I bought this shower liner while we were renovating our bathroom and needed a fresh replacement. The first one I ordered ended up being too short because I didn’t measure the shower properly 🤦🏻♀️, so I ordered the larger size afterward. That was completely my mistake because I actually liked the product from the beginning. Even though it’s made of fabric, it does a great job keeping the water inside the shower. It feels damp to the touch after a shower, but the water beads up and flows down really well, and I haven’t had any issues with water leaking outside. It also looks much nicer than a typical plastic liner, and being machine washable is a huge plus. The only thing I would improve is the size of the magnets. They work well and help keep the liner in place, but if they were just a little larger, I think they would hold even better, especially when there’s more airflow in the shower. That said, I can also see why they kept them smaller to make the liner lighter and easier to wash. Overall, I’m really happy with it. In fact, after ordering the wrong size the first time, I didn’t hesitate to buy the exact same liner again—just in the correct dimensions. ... show more

Great Product! My previous shower curtain liner was plastic & one of my cats has a fondness for trying to devour anything resembling plastic bags. After a number of years chewing on the old liner, he finally chewed off enough off that I decided it was time to replace it for his safety and my sanity. I ordered this shower curtain liner in late Feb 2025 because it’s made out of fabric. It’s been washed it in my washing machine several times & air dried it before rehanging it. I find that it dries quickly on a drying rack. When hanging it on the shower curtain rod, I suggest hanging it so that folded sewn side of the seam on the bottom of the liner faces the interior of the tub. See the photo of the bottom seam to show what I’m explaining. I like that it has metal grommets and 3 magnets sewn into the bottom seam to prevent it from billowing into the shower when showering. The liner is holding up just fine & I would purchase it again. And my ginger boy has not shown any interest in munching on this polyester liner. ... show more
