I have been battling my pool for quite a while. My vacuum was picking up dirt, but not really cleaning the sides and was constantly getting stuck on my 2 sets of steps in my in-ground pool. I was getting algae (yellow) and it was really stuck to the sides. No matter what chemicals I used or how long I ran the pump and vacuum, it wouldn't go away. I bought this and first time I ran it, the pool got very cloudy, so I was nervous that I made a bad decision. I ran it again, then let the pool settle for a day. The difference was amazing! It had cleaned so much of the algae off the sides, cleaned the steps and even got the waterline (which this model was apparently not made for). I've had it a week, and my pool is absolutely sparkling! The filters are super easy to clean, and it's very easy to set up and remove from the pool. My only regret is not finding this a long time ago! Definitely worth the money.

Like other inexpensive pool cleaners this has two brushes, two holes for suction, and two motors for movement. It includes a charger and a hook for removal. After charging, press the button to start and place it in the pool. Both motors suction through the filter, so both brushes and inlets pull in debris, but one motor jets towards the back and the other towards the front. It switches motors occasionally to sweep across the pool. The wheels are a little loose so the movement is somewhat random, but the basic motion is just back and forward. It indicates that if you have a saltwater pool you must rinse it off immediately after each use, so you may want to keep looking if you have a saltwater pool. The charge port is inside the filter area, so you have to disassemble it to charge, and leave it disassembled while charging. It doesn't have a rubber cap for the charge port, so I expect it to corrode over time. The top, bottom, and filter all go together in one orientation, and there are no marks telling you which way - look at the outline of the filter hole and it should be obvious enough, but it's somewhat annoying - it would have been better if it were symmetrical so it wouldn't matter, or if there were markings or designs making it obvious which way it went. Overall not a bad cleaner.

This cordless robotic pool cleaner is the backyard essential I've always wanted, and it has rescued me from the strenuous cleaning work. My backyard pool is 18x30 feet, not too large, but cleaning it every time is a hassle. I used to dread finding leaves or branches at the bottom of the pool, and my arms would ache after using the extended pool cleaning pole each time. This robotic pool vacuum cleaner can intelligently clean the pool with its strong suction power, effectively removing various debris from the pool floor. What's most important to me is that this robotic pool cleaner has a two-hour runtime, which completely meets my needs. I'm thrilled that this pool cleaner can excellently clean my pool within 50 minutes, which makes me very satisfied.

This isn't a 'state of the art' robotic pool cleaner but you probably figured that out from the price point. For what it is, however, it's pretty good. It's important to keep in mind that this isn't an 'all in one' type pool cleaning device. In fact, even the top of the line products are just now starting to create 'all in one' cleaning devices. What this does is keep the floor of your pool nice and clean. It charges quickly (2.5 hours) and that'll give you two hours of battery life. It's recommended for pools up to 1229 square feet. The dual motors, brushes and strong suction gets all of the debris off the bottom of y our pool. It couldn't be easier to use--just turn it on and put it in your pool. When it's finished cleaning it'll park itself. In other words, it does one thing but does it pretty well for a device at this price point. Recommended!
