It has two separate charcoal trays, and each one can be adjusted independently. That means you can set different heat zones for different foods at the same time, which is super practical and makes grilling so much easier. Assembly was manageable – I did it all by myself in about 1 hours. Cleanup is also a breeze thanks to the pull-out ash tray underneath. Just slide it out and dump the ashes. This grill is adequate. I have owned the exact design sold under a different brand name several years ago. This version has some fit problems and showed up without utensil hooks and with a faulty (leaky) temperature gage. The seller worked with me to place an order to replace those at no charge. There is also a need for a solution to keep the coal doors from falling wide open, making the safety handle difficult to grasp and risks burns when the door metal is hot. See photo I am installing my own chain limiter solution to work similar to the prior model that I had.

I’ve been using the Captiva Designs Charcoal BBQ Grill for a few weeks now, and overall, I’m very satisfied with the performance and build quality.cooking surface is one of the standout features—it easily accommodates enough food for larger gatherings, which is great for family cookouts or small parties. I’ve grilled burgers, ribs, and vegetables all at once without running out of space. One thing I appreciate is the dual lifting charcoal trays. Being able to adjust the heat separately on each side gives more control and makes it easier to cook different types of food at the same time. It’s not something you find in every charcoal grill at this price point. Assembly took a bit of time, but the instructions were clear enough, and the parts fit together well. The construction feels solid; it’s mostly steel and feels sturdy when in use. I also like the foldable side tables—they provide extra prep space when needed but tuck away nicely for storage. Cleanup is straightforward with the removable ash trays, which slide out easily. The grill also has decent airflow control with the adjustable vents,helps with temperature regulation.

Although the delivery was a few days late, when I asked the customer service, the customer service also helped to check the order and contact the UPS! I searched for this charcoal grill on Amazon for a long time before placing an order. I also compared it with other stores before deciding to place an order. My husband took an hour half to get it done by himself. It is very simple to install it according to the detailed steps in the instruction manual. It is a very solid quality, large-capacity grill that can bake many kinds of food at a time to save time! It can be used for family party . After installation, we put the ingredients in place and started to grill. Here I want to say that the structure of the charcoal grill is simple and independent. When grilling, you can easily adjust the firepower by twisting the handle, which I like very much. When you cover the lid, you can clearly see the temperature inside rising on the thermometer. The temperature of the food is clear at a glance. Then it is super easy to clean after grilling. The full-size drawer ashtray is easy to clean. If you are choosing a full-carbon grill, I would recommend it. I will keep it and use it all the time.
