What a fantastic find this incredible mini cordless chainsaw is! It is well constructed, light, and easy to use - but cuts through 5 inch limbs like butter. I also couldn't believe all the accessories it comes with, as well. It exceeded my expectations. As for the company that makes this fabulous chainsaw, I also give it 5 stars! There was a problem with the lithium battery charger when I first used it. I contacted the company by email and the very next day they replied eager to send me a replacement asap...at no charge. It is now charging and running perfectly. What a great product and what a great company!

I will start with the positive: This is a great little chain saw for cutting down smaller deadfall and low-hanging branches. I use it to cut through both green and dry wood up to 4" thick. a bit larger would probably be fine too. Great for cleaning up spring and fall debris. So lightweight that even I, with severe arthritis, can handle it. I definitely recommend keeping it oiled--including once you store it away for winter. The handy plastic storage kit box comes with a small bottle of oil (along with some spare chain segments and other useful items), but that won't last long. Mineral oil would be the best, which I believe is what the company included. Mineral oil won't harm your live plants/trees. The battery (comes with two!) started right out of the box and I worked fairly consistently for about 4 hours before I had to switch to the second battery and charge the first-VERY IMPRESSIVE! As for the negative-Yes, only one: There is kick-back when starting cuts. However, this is to be expected with such a light tool. I found that putting a little extra pressure down on the wood when starting with dry wood helped, and with wet/fresh wood a lighter touch when starting worked. But you'll have to play with it to see what works for you. Overall, this was money well-spent and I recommend it to anyone.

This little chainsaw is awesome! It's exactly what I've been looking for. I needed to clear out some of the trees around my chicken coops, but I don't trust myself to use a regular chainsaw. This saw is very light, easy to use, and can even cut some decently sized trees and branches. The chain is easy to remove and tighten. Loosen the cover just slightly, then tighten the screw that pulls the chain to tighten it. The lock button is good, make sure to lock the saw before touching the chain. I've found it best to operate the saw with two hands, to hold it steady, as there's some kickback. But it can be used with one hand, which is fine for smaller branches. Also, the batteries run out pretty fast, but that's to be expected. I can still get a good amount done before they need to be charged, and the charging doesn't take too much time either. Overall, I love this mini chainsaw!

I have a home landscape which needs trimming maintenance of up to 5” diameter wooden growth. I had used a gasoline powered 16” chain saw for many years, but had not used it for 30 years as it’s quite a chore to create the gas/oil fuel mixture and fill the lubricating oil reservoir for small jobs. Then I happened on advertisement of a 4” battery powered electric chain saw. It caught my attention because I had in mind to do some more extensive trimming this spring. My thought was that a 4” saw was a bit small for what I needed to do but were there maybe 6” such saws on Amazon? I happened on the Bomves 6” battery powered electric chain saw at what I thought was a bargain price and bought it. I was thrilled with what came. It is in a nice utility box with all the necessary maintenance and safety tools. As it happened, we had a storm blow through within a week that downed a number of tree branches (up to 4”diameter). It was quick work to cut everything up and fill several yard waste bins. I had oiled the chain bar, and after the work re-oiled the chain bar and found that I needed to readjust the tightness of the chain. But it was ready to go again. Next week another storm came through and I repeated the work. The saw is as good as new and still working on the one full charge of one of the two batteries supplied. I expect that this saw will last me many years as long as I properly oil the chain-bar, keep the chain properly tensioned, plan the cuts so that the cut opens rather than closes on the saw, and I cut clean wood (vs. near the ground where even a bit of grit will quickly dull the chain).

I love this mini chainsaw. It has saved me a lot of time by being handy, light, and easy to use. I've cut through small trees around 3 inches or more with very little effort. Just bend the bigger ones in the direction of the cut as you're cutting. I just finished cutting down about 9 saplings that keep coming back and I let them go too long. It was so easy and this chainsaw worked so well, I had to leave a review. You can't go wrong with this chainsaw, especially with the extra blades and extra battery. It also comes with all the tools you need to maintain it, not that it needs a lot of maintenance. I just spray some WD-40 on the blade while it's running to get it juiced up. Then, clean out the debris after finished.

I was worried. But wow this little saw is great. I’m not easy on tools and am known to cut way more than what tools are designed for. This thing is great. It’s so lite and cuts through small trees. I’ve owned several gas ones and last one went with the house when I sold the house. Super easy to use and and most important in the 4 to 5 hours of use over various days it hasn’t jammed, got stuck, or even the dreaded chain come off. Just works. Keep a battery on charger as it will need to be swapped but did 3 hours of use this past Sunday and amazing. Oh, love the plastic case it came in as it stores everything together.
