I do not own large cats or any dogs. I own an old mated pair of cockatiels adopted from a small flock surrendered for neglect anf buse. Cockatiels aren't large, are weighted in grams, and have long tails. They do not like being in small containers, getting hit by someone's tail and having their own tails bent and abused by someone else. This carrier allows sufficient room for tails and unobstructed movement The mesh is strong. They both climb on it using beaks and talons, and both chew the mesh. They have not damaged it. I am impressed. The carrier comes with a floor covering but I purchased an additional one that supposedly collects anf radiatrs back their body heat. I'm not sure how effective this is for two relatively small birds (in spite of King's belief otherwise) but it makes a soft nest they like snuggling into. All of the mesh allows fresh air to circulate, but my region has harsh winters. The model with covers for the open areas was not offered at the time of my purchase.. From appearances, I question how wekk the covers would stop snow, sleet, rain or harsh winds. Presently, I messily wrap the case in several blankets. I am designing a cover for winter use and another for the summer which tends to be hot with high humidity. I really feel the manufacturer should sell well designed covers with waterproof bottoms. If it actually fulfills its purpose, I would buy summer and winter versions. The doors allow the vet ready access to catch whichever one is wantd without the other escaping. I would prefer a way to ensure the zippers aren't opened except when the owner desires. I have seen such arrangements on other carrriers and suitcases. I like the carrier. I expect years of use from my present one. My strongest complaint is the lack of protection from the elements. Otherwise, I have no problem recommending it to other pet owners. I considered removing a star for the weather issue, but I was aware of that at the time of purchase just from the photos supplied.

The Petseek Extra Large Cat Carrier Soft Sided… comes folded with instructions and sets up with ease. The best part though, is how it has three openings, one of which is on the top. My cat hates to be placed in his front-opening plastic pet carrier that I must stand up on edge and lover him through the rather small door of which he tries to prevent by sticking out his front legs. It’s unpleasant for both of us. The Petseek cat carrier solves this problem! With a rather large top opening, I simply lower my cat into the carrier with great ease and he doesn’t try to prevent it. This pet carrier is an absolute live saver for anyone who finds it difficult to get their cat into a carrier! Once inside, he is comfortable with screens on all four sides to view the surroundings, large space to sit up and move about, and comfortable floor padding. Although you probably won’t have a problem, there is an “After Sales Service Team” that is available by email to help you solve any matter that might arise. One of the zippers was stuck and I contacted the team which quickly responded with advice. When I couldn’t correct it, the team promptly sent me a new carrier at no charge. Although I wasn’t expecting it, they let me keep the original unit. Great customer service comes with the Petseek Extra Large Cat Carrier… which is a great product to begin with. Purchase this cat carrier with the confidence that Petseek both manufactures and will do whatever it takes for you to have the perfect product that both you and your pet will love!

I bought two carriers (green and purple) to use during my first long road trip when moving across states with two cats. I liked how spacious the carriers were for each of my cats where they could stand and turn out to get comfortable (cats are 14 lbs and 8 lbs). The curtains that roll down were very helpful to keep my cats feeling safe and to minimize stress (one of my cats is very nervous) when transporting to and from the car. I also liked that I was able to roll up the curtains during the car ride so they could see me and feel comfortable, but also have enough ventilation. The carrier is quite durable and I liked how there are three openings to the carrier to make it easy to use. The only drawback was that when the purple carrier arrived, it had a strong odor to it that I tried to air out as best as I could. Otherwise, these are great carriers and I recommend them!

Excellent quality! Surprised at the craftsmanship and the sheer ruggedness. Has a metal frame in there that could no doubt handle a collision if it had to and would be okay. The dual one is worth it for two cats, and will be spacious enough for them despite taking up the entire back seat. Worth it for the kitties being comfortable!

Updating my review after the company reached out to me to solve the issue of the missing litter box and bowls and after actually using the product. The product really was great, they were sturdy and I never had an issue with them quality wise. The seller reached out almost right away (I didn't see the message for over a month and a half) and offered a refund or to send me the missing parts. I guess there was a batch that they forgot to pack correctly and unfortunately I got one from that batch. I'd buy this again or anything from this company just because of the customer service. This looks good and feels sturdy but did not come with the litter box or bowls like it's advertised which was part of why I decided to go with this in the first place.
