Works great for pots as well as the grill. Can grill up a whole pound of bacon in one shot and with the cover and the high lipped grill plate, no messy splatter. Perfect for cooking a full breakfast for 4 in one shot. Grills steaks, burger, pork chops and on and on and on. Love Love Love it. Bought a new G.E. Modern Looked introduction Never worked. Had to return it. Went to buy a temporary hot plate, almocst bought another till it said no plug. Found out had to be hard wired. So was leary about this one. But sounded good as it said plug in. I did and waited for fuse to blow DIDNT. LOL After using this item I am now going to take my time as it fits my needs. I will now look into buying a induction stove. Once u go induction u cant go back. It passed the rice test 3 xs. I made perfect rice and the cool down feature amazing as it dosnt burn like an electric stove. Dont know why people. ple say its to small, it is compact but can easly cook for two to three people unless u are PIGS and eat alot (LOL) . Just used the Grill. Wow Fit 6 yes 6 pork chops. Came out Tasty 6 cant believe it and thay were a nice size. Love the Cover.

This little induction grill is great for 2 people. The removable cast iron griddle that comes with cooks even, and cleans up easily. Then you can remove the griddle and use the induction elements for a couple of smaller skillets ( induction compatible of course), or my new favorite, my camping griddle. Cast iron heats evenly, but just need to heat slowly and give it time to spread out the heat. I’m happy to make hamburger patties that are close to like we make outside on our grill. It makes great pancakes, but just 2 at a time. Bacon cooks nice and evenly across the griddle. The only downside I have is it’s a little small, but the compact size takes less space on counter, and storage. After using it almost daily for a month, I’m still happy with it.

First Off! Im Disappointed The Reviews Have Failed Me For The First Time On Amazon! I Just Unpacked This Last Night And Sending Back This Morning! I Cannot Use The Two Burners And Im Not Understanding Why No One Explained How Difficult It Is To Work This Thing! Im Returning Because I Actually Want To COOK With The Two Burners. If You Are Looking To Purchase For The Grill, Then Go Ahead But I Purchased A Grill For $25 Bigger And Does Just As Great! I Had Several Issues And I Tried Uploading A Video To Show. We Are Remodeling A Tiny House And Thought This Would Be Perfect Butttt Issue One: The Burners Will Not Turn On Until It Detects A Proper Pot And Thankfully I Found One That Worked! Then You Have To Move The Pot Around Until It Turns On The First Setting. Ive Never Cooked Based On Watts So I Changed The Setting To C Instead Of P. Issue Two: The Vibration! I Was Not Aware Of The Loud Vibration And The Pots Sliding Over The Place!! You Cant Walk Away From This Thing! Check The Video If It Uploads. ANOTHER ISSUE: Took Forever To Boil A Small Amount Of Water. I Really Like To Cook But I Refused To Wait 10mins For 4 Oz Of Water To Boil. I Did A Test With My Old Coil Burner And This One At The Same Time, Same Amount Of Water And The Coil Burner Was Boiling In 2 Mins. I Guess I Have Been Spoiled By Coil Burners. AND For Some Reason It Only Got Hot Around Certain Edges Of The Pot And Not The Whole Space Evenly. Its A Strong No For Me! AND ANOTHER: The Error Codes! I Wondered Why They Sent A List Of Error Codes And Now, After One Night I See Whyyyy. E2 Error Code (internal overheating) Kept Appearing And Would Stop The Burner And Nothing Blocked It. Waited Until The Morning, It Went For A Longer Time But Did The Same Thing. I Tried All Type Of Ventilation Setups Because We Really Wanted To Keep It But Again NO! And That Was Enough To Pack It Right Back Up And Send Back! The Looks Of This Induction Burner And Its Technology Make You Want To Try It But Dont Waste Your Time!! The Idea Was Great But They Dropped The Ball With The Digital Inputs

My husband and I live in Tucson, but leave for five months in our travel trailer during the hot months. We prefer to cook outside as much as possible, and have been using a Coleman propane stove. I now plug the Cooktron into our outside outlet, and use it exclusively. It is faster than the propane stove, cleaner, and works in windy weather (the propane stove would not get hot enough if the wind blew). I can also bring it inside on rainy days and cook quickly and easily inside. I am so happy that a friend recommended it.

We've had several full cover cooktops, but boilovers still get them dirty which then gets on the pans etc. These seem less likely to boil over maybe because of the induction? Any spatters are really easy to clean. We used to unplug the other cooktop because it was hard to tell if it was left on. This shows clearly when it's on or off and also shows when an element is still hot even if it's been turned off. The reality is though they cool down pretty quickly. Bottom line, this is well worth the money, even if you have to buy new induction pans (we did, you can get a whole set that works fine on Amazon for like $100).

Size: Double Induction Cooktop with Griddle Pan
After researching and ordering an Induction Cooktop, minutes later I saw the "COOKTRON Portable Induction Cooktop 2 Burner with Removable Iron Cast Griddle Pan Non-stick, 1800W Double Induction Cooktop" and thought that would be cool to have and offer more flexibility. Some reviewers spoke of "set controls" of temperatures. I loved the idea of the grill and ordered both. The Nuwave arrived first, which I liked. The Cooktron arrived a few days later…unfortunately, busted to bits (not the grill). The packaging would have survived with a little more insulation. Replace it or not? I really wanted to try it and decided to give it another try based on the positive reviews I had read. The replacement arrived faster than the original order and intact. It was very simple to operate. I liked everything about it except not being able to have more temperature controls, also, the spacing between pots on the stovetop are a little close, neither a deal breaker. The grill: Cooking bacon or other meats (in a pan makes for a harder to clean up, but on the grill it) is easy, no oil needed and cleaning up the surface using "a couple of paper towels" as another reviewer said was perfect. (see video) When you use the grill, there is a setting which operates both sides of the grill simultaneously with the same temperature. It comes in handy for grilling multiple items and has enough room on the grill to fry 6 nice sized slices of thick bacon easily. We've used it to stir fry vegetables on one side as the meat is cooking and it's so easy. Nothing sticks to it, Sunny side up eggs, scrambled eggs, veggies, etc.. The unit is not as heavy as I expected, so it's easy to handle. Its compact size is ideal. It is lightweight and doesn't feel bulky to move about, which makes for a perfect portable device if one needs to take to a party for additional cooking. The handles of the grill get hot! Have gloves nearby if you think you need to touch the handles. Have fun!
