This is a nice, convenient and easy to use device. I do a lot of bbq, smoking and slow cooking and being able to check the temperature while sitting on the sofa is nice. There are also some simple but useful alerts for target temperature and midpoints. Overall, I’d recommend this. I took a star off because it’s prices a little high ESPECIALLY because it doesn’t come with the 2nd probe included.

Very happy to no longer be tied to my smoker all day long. I can easily view the temps on my phone from work or wherever. The device interface is very clunky and the app is almost unusable, but I can get to a “quick view” page where I can see the temps, so I’m good. Maybe they’ll make improvements in the future. For now, it works. That’s all I need it to do.

The first time when we it used it was great. The second time about 6 hours into a Brisket it started jumping all over. We replaced the batteries but still no luck. We will try one more time

I love to cook. This is the easiest to use meat thermometer I've ever owned. I love the ease of use of the app, too. Worth every penny!

It's great that I can view the cooking temp from my phone. However, the temperature accuracy is lower than what it should be. I cooked chicken and fish on a stove top pan with the CookPerfect Thermometer, and it took a long time for the temperature to increase. By the time the chicken breast temperature read 120 F, the breast was overcooked and dry. Chicken should be cooked to 165 F and remain juicy. As an experiment, I let the chicken overcook to observe the thermometer's reading; the chicken took well over 30 minutes to reach 165 F (chicken should reach 165 F within 15 minutes). I assumed that the calibration was off, but there is no way to calibrate it. For the expensive price, it should have a way to calibrate for cooking accuracy.

It looses connections a lot, you have to stay within 10 feet. While using today after about an hour, the device, in a lack of better words, exploded (see picture).

Bought this for my husband for Christmas and he absolutely loves it!!! His favorite part is how it shows ambient temp and give a pretty accurate ETA for when food should be ready. Am purchasing more leads so he can work with multiple meats at one time.
