Aluminum disc layer in bottom for even heat conduction and prevents hot spots. Tempered glass lid with steam vent to view food while cooking and stays cool. Riveted handles are comfortable and stay cool. Reinforced rim for long heating and can be used for canning and jarring. Induction compatible. Works on gas, electric, glass, ceramic, halogen, etc. Oven safe to 350F. Dishwasher safe.

This Stock pot is very useful for my cooking needs, is well made and very easy to clean. Other reviews speak of the inside staining but that is the nature of the material depending on what you cook in it. Most stains are very easy to remove though. The handles are nicely enclosed in silicone and do not get very warm. However, for safety, I do use mitts when lifting. I would prefer the handles be a bit more substantial, as in possibly thicker, but they are riveted very well and do not move. This is a personal preference though for my hand size. It's a pot -- it does what pots do. It's just the size I thought it would be, and just the size I needed. It's become my most-used piece of cookware, apart from my slow cooker. It is also good looking, nice and shiny.

I love this freaking pot. I use it on an induction cook plate just because it is convenient and fits perfectly although it also works on my induction stove. I can cook a triple batch of my favorite soup and not even fill this pot half way. The heat distribution is great. It comes with a glass lid. Iโ€™ve only ever washed it by hand because it would take up the entire bottom rack of the Bosch and still might not fit. That being said, clean up took two minutes. Nothing stuck to this bad boy. This is a very well made pot! It's perfect for making soups or stews for 2! Easy to clean and the see through lid is a plus. I have not had any issues with hot spots at all. LOVE this pot so much I've told everyone at church about it!
