This is a great little pot. Very sturdy. Thick bottom. Heats evenly. I wish I had started using stainless years ago but was always afraid food would stick. I finally got tired of flakey no stick pans with warped bottoms and out desperation picked this up up to give it a try. It was reasonably priced and not too big of an investment if I didn't like it. I love this pot. Use it everyday. You may have to stir a little more frequently but food doesn't stick. Very easy to clean. I have had this for a good while and it still looks good. No rust. The only thing I don't like is that the silicone doesn't cover the entire handle and it slips off to the side. It slips back easily. I make sure it's in the middle where it belongs before I put it on the stove and I haven't had any problems. Once the pot heats up it seams to stay in place. I always use pot holders just in case. This LARGE pot was maybe just a bit bigger (1/4" larger in diameter) than my biggest induction burner, but the huge capacity was perfect for my needs. I honestly was expecting something of lesser quality than the price suggested. The quality was clearly there (my other pots are All-Clad D3, Le Creuset, Staub). The polish, weight and fit of the lid were perfect, and the glass lid unexpectedly fit my huge all-clad saute pan, woo-hoo!. The handles were not as heavy duty as my other brands, but definitely enough to handle the load full pot. It heated at a reasonable speed on my induction burners (not like a single thickness pot--which would translate into scorching) and transferred the heat evenly to the contents based on my observations. I needed something huge for VERY occasional use, and did not want to invest in my usual brands, so this was PERFECT. I was willing to settle a bit b/c my use for this was infrequent, but I am truly pleased with this choice. The only negative I can think of (and it's a small one overall) is that on the OUTSIDE of the pot where the sides turn into the bottom, there is a small ridge--maybe a millimeter or two. This might mean a sauce dripping down the sides could catch there and take an extra minute to clean, but sauce dripping all the way down such a TALL pot unnoticed seems like a rare occurrence to me... I hope this review helps you make up your mind, and I hope you write up your discoveries too--it helps us all. ... show more

This review is for Cook N Home Stockpot Large pot Sauce Pot Induction Pot with Lid Professional Stainless Steel 20 Quart. I ordered this based on a recommendation from Cook's Illustrated America's Test Kitchen. The stockpot is good quality, and you are getting your money's worth. The steam vent is also a nice added feature. The fit and finish was all very good. The stockpot is not overly heavy. The handles don't seem weak, but for this size I would like to be a bit more robust. I would also prefer if there was a USA or European made version, however that would also mean a higher price. The one mistake I made was not paying attention to the dimensions. The 20 quart stock pot turned out to be a bit too large for my kitchen setup, so make sure you order the right size. ... show more

This massive pot is working really well. No stuck food on the bottom even with a full pot of soup and maxed out glass-top stove burner. It retains heat really well and is easy to clean. It is obviously quite big to handle when washing, but at 20 quart capacity, what do you expect?! It takes some good muscles to move it around when full in fact, almost needing two set of hands to safely transfer around. The great thing about this pot, and what took me a while to find, is that the height is lower than most other 20qt pots. I was specifically looking for this so it would still fit in the fridge without having to alter shelf spacing. I can flip the lid upside down and it still seals around the rim, without adding additional storage height. Get one and don't blink! ... show more
