I have a two stall garage for which gets extremely cold in the New England winter. It is not insulated very well too. I just recently installed a 240VAC circuit panel to supply power to a level 2 EV car charger. This gave me the opportunity to use it for this heater as well. When it's 15 degrees, it takes about an hour for the temperature to climb to the mid 60s. It make a trumendous difference when working in the garage. My unit is the 7500 watt Ceiling mounted heater from Comfort Zone. Mounting and wiring was very easy. I did have an electrician run a line from the breaker box to the location where I planed to mount the unit, but I made the connection to the unit myself. The garage does seem warm but temperature outside has not been real cold. The unit is exceptionally quite, if it wasn't for the lights and menu on the front, I wouldn't be able to tell it was on. The remote that came with it makes usage easier. However, I am concerned about the air flow. The flow of air is not powerful at all; what I mean is I have put my hand close to its path to feel the warm air blowing out. Personally, I like the quietness, but I am not satisfied with the airflow. ... show more

This thing just works! Beware that this thing will warm areas pretty quickly but you need to have the proper wiring! THAT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT. If you do not be prepared to have an electrical fire and quickly. Also prepare yourself for the hit to your electric bill and wallet but it does work quickly.
