The new alternator came with a testing document, showing all the information needed to know that it works fine. I was able to quickly install the new alternator in about half an hour with little to know work needed to access the old alternator on my 2004 Chevy Cavalier. After replacing, all the correct voltage is being sent through when the car is running as expected. Definitely worth the buy! ... show more

I’ve had it installed for a few months now. It’s working just fine so far. I bought a “used” one for half off. It wasn’t used though, the box was just damaged. I’ll update if it ever gives me any problems.

It was either buy it from Amazon and wait for it or pay double the amount in my small town after my daughter's clown 'mechanic' fool ordered the wrong alternator. We chose to wait. That also helped our daughter appreciate a good running vehicle and the fact that her dad fixes her messes after the clown fool tool disappears on her.
