This stuff worked immediately and perfectly. The gray hair at the sides of my head was turning yellowish. The instructions said the yellower the hair, the drier it should be when you use the product. So I used it on the sides after towel-drying the sides well, then combed more product through the rest of my hair (which was a little damper). Result: Beautiful silver color with NO yellow at all! This is so much better than the purple shampoo and conditioner I used to use, which didn't do nearly as well as WOW. I was not impressed with the color mousse it left my hair feeling coated , stiff, and sticky, I started blowdrying my hair, and the more it dried the worse it felt, I ended up shampooing my hair to get the stuff out, and then going back with my Joico violet shampoo, and conditioning my hair, and the it felt a 100 times better, I wasted $24 on this stuff, never again! ... show more

I live in Arizona where being outdoors can wreck havoc on my hair. I try to wear a hat as much as I can. We have soft water and I buy no sulfate shampoos and purple shampoo but once in a while I need more. Color Wow does the trick. I have fine dry hair, after using the mousse and blow drying my hair it’s not sticky or stiff and the yellow tone on top of my head goes away.
