I recently got into smoked old fashioneds, and found this kit to be fairly inexpensive. Adding to this kit, I bought the fuel and some old fashioned mix (because I'm lazy, ok?). The process of making the drinks is pretty straightforward and fun to do/watch. The only negative - the wood chips come in different flavors...but there seems to be no difference in the scent/taste. For as inexpensive as this kit is, it's well worth the money to give this a try.

I’m making show-stopping cocktails for my friends with this kit. It has everything needed to create trendy Drinks. You do need a butane torch to get the smoke on these going. easy to load and use. Has a great base so that when I’m done with it I can set it down without worrying about damaging my counters. The chimney is a perfect To fit my bar glasses. We use these on highball and stemless glasses just fine. There’s a mesh tray inside so it’s easy to empty out the ash and refill with fresh wood chips. Clean up is simple. Super cool little kit and I’m very happy with it- well worth the money!

To start, the torch it came with did not work (after adding fuel to it). I had one that i used for cooking and was able to try some of the wood. Wish there was more smoke that goes into the drink. Overall, it did give it a nice smokey flavor to it.

This was a Christmas gift for my boyfriend and he was so excited! He loves smoked cocktails so he broke it open right away! It was so easy to use and works just like described. I had to get the butane separately but that was no issue.

You get an easy to use product with a variety of different woods types that come with the smoker. Impressive for your cocktail hour or parties and really enhances the richness of the drink. Easy to store back in it's shipping box. Great buy to impress your guests.

This is a cost effective way to see if you're into smoked cocktails and very nicely packaged. It would make an inexpensive but thoughtful gift. It does work, it's just a little involved and fussy to use. I find it difficult to get much smoke to flow out of the bottom into the drink without overheating "the bowl" and charring the wooden holder. The torch is also low quality and a bit bulky. Still, it does add an interesting flavor to whisk(e)y and makes a good party trick. I used mine regularly for a few weeks and then upgraded to a more expensive gun/chamber set up.

Gifted this to our neighbor who thankfully knew what they were doing. Looks pretty easy. He struggled to get the smoke to build in the cup buy maneuvered it to make it work eventually. Seemed to be a hit.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased for my wife for Christmas and to my surprise she purchased a different one, from another seller, for ME! After examining the two sets we decided to keep this one based on the quality of the materials and construction of the smoking chamber. The torch is a very good form factor and easy to use. Be sure to get light fluid separately as this does not come with it. Highly Recommended!
