It was really easy to set up. The sound options aren't very pleasant but you will definitely hear it. I don't suggest putting it anywhere you're close to when it goes off. Could definitely use better tone options, but it definitely does the job and for a good price.

I bought a six-pack of these. They are easy to install and the ones that work, work well. The problem is that two of the six did not work and I didn;t know until I installed all of them. Hopefully, the seller will make it right.

We bought these after I found my 3 year old in the backyard when she was supposed to be napping. I love that they come in 2 different noises; the chatm noise sounds like a store doorbell. The 2 volumes are very convenient as well. We wanted something we could hear on either floor if needed, but that wouldn't wake the kids at night if we forgot to turn it off. The loud volume may wake someone up on the 2nd floor, but the lower volume hasn't at all. My only complaint is that when you reset the alarm it auto resets the volume to loud and you have to hit the button to lower it which passes through making the louder noise (unless I am missing something). ... show more
