The media could not be loaded. I ordered this for a birthday gift, and was very happy to see it included everything but the gas in the kit. Whisky stones, a rocks glass, smoker top, and torch along with several samples of wood chips. I got some butane from the local store to fill it up, and a bottle of bourbon to complete the gift. It was the hit of the birthday party, and I think it triggered several more orders because of the fun we had smoking drinks. You won't regret gifting this set this holiday season. Winner!

I've been wanting to get into playing around with smoked cocktails, but hadn't done so prior to finding this kit. It comes with everything you could possibly need except for the actual cocktail ingredients. Notes on what is inside: * 6 different flavors of woodchips. I initially thought that the size of the little tins wasn't very generous when I unboxed the kit. However, after actually using it and seeing how little you need to make a smoked cocktail, I no longer feel that way. There is certainly enough in each tin to arrive at a firm decision on which flavors you like and want more of. * The torch. I had reservations about the torch because it looks and feels a little cheaper than another torch I already own. However, once I filled it, it works great. The flame lights well, is a good size, and has the ability to adjust it. I was worried that the flame would be too large for the smoker, but it works great. * The fiddly bits. There's a nifty little spoon for measuring and dispensing wood chips into your smoker. The instructions suggest 2 spoons full per use, but I feel like you can easily get away with half that amount, which makes the provided chips last even longer. The cleaning brush does what you'd expect it to do. The tongs are great for moving the provided whiskey stones, which also come in a nifty little bag. * The glass. It's a glass. It appears to be made of glass. I appreciate a glass glass. Good for holding things. * The smoker. This is real wood (species is unknown) smoker with a metal filter for holding the wood chips. Fit on the lid is nice, which helps contain the smoke once the smoker is done smoking. All around, the fit and finish are nice, with the actual device looking much higher quality than the paraphernalia that comes with it. It's also a good size for using with glasses other than the one provided. This is a great start into exploring smoked cocktails. I'm looking forward to lots of testing. Would absolutely order this again if I had a need.

My major complaints with this kit are that the butane torch feels kind of cheap and the smoke compartment doesn't seem to vent as well as shown, so there is a learning curve with getting the right amount of smoke. Other than that, it's low priced kit and makes an alright starter kit for getting into smoked cocktails. It has a lot of accessories and does what's advertised in the listing. The smoke compartment does fairly well dissapating the heat compared to an all metal compartment.

Do you know someone into bourbon, scotch, or is crazy about mixology? They will dig this gift set. It is very nicely boxed and presented (even comes with a little greeting card to give your giftee). Comes with 6 species of wood chips, a lowball glass, metal whiskey stones, a butane torch (butane not included), some accessories, and the little smoker hat thingy to infuse your drink with smokey flavor. The instructions are really easy to follow. I tried the cherry wood first, and it had a very interesting flavor profile. I'm looking forward to working my way through all the different kinds of chips and trying them with different spirits. It did not set off my smoke detector, but perhaps next time I'll use it under the vent hood or outside just in case.
