I’ve been trying to find a good kettle that’s small and good for traveling cuz good tea is hard to find. This kettle is experiment #3 and finally a kettle that works. Most of the travel kettles don’t heat to programmed temps and I’d they do, they take more than 10 minutes to heat. This Cocinaré kettle has precise temperature control, it heats up fast (3 minutes or less), it’s lightweight and has a smaller volume and size. All these make this kettle an unintentional but good travel kettle. I saved the plastic bit that goes on the end of the spout to use when I pack it up. I can also see it would make a good kettle for limited space living. For coffee lovers, the pour is really good. I use the excellent pour while cooking, it has good control and flow. For future suggestions on this kettle: the lid doesn’t fit as snugly as it could (like on the Cocinaré Flow), and more fun colors or graphics or a surface I can use my sharpies on, and a true multi-voltage safe option. We primarily use this as a hot water source when preparing hand-feeding formula for parrot chicks. It heats the water quickly and maintains the temperature, which is important. It also gets used to make a cup of tea late at night when the microwave makes too much noise. Once you know where the controls are, it's easy to turn it on and off with a swipe of the finger. I love this kettle. I only drink water and my morning ritual is made easier by using this kettle to warm my water to the precise temperature. I have tried other brands but am so happy I found this one. Very pretty also. Highly recommend
