In the installation instructions it mentions temporary hook or permanent install via side (4) mounting holes 2 each side… these holes do not exist on this model only the temporary folding hook is provided. Very confusing. The manual also requires unit to in off mode then hooked to battery, then select battery type then turn on to start charging sequence. The opposite is required before removing from the battery. It’s somewhat inconvenient to have to turn off the bank prior to removing it from the battery or reconnecting it to the battery especially when the charger is in a different room or remote location. Just my two cents. Otherwise the charger appears to be working great and I do recommend it’s purchase. ... show more

Works well thus far, I will keep review updated. I like that the temperature sensor for temp compensation is actually sticking out of the unit so you know for sure that it's not adjusting for its own internal temperature like some other chargers.

Pretty sure it works fine, but what the lights do is not well documented. As a matter of fact, what mine did wasn't documented at all. So i emailed support. Nice people, and responsive, but still couldn't tell me what the combination of lights I had even meant. Openly admitting that not all light combinations are documented..... what? why not? Needless to say I ended up returning it because i have no faith in being able to "set it and forget it" over the winter. ... show more

This is a good product. Unfortunately, the cables that come with them come up a little short. Also, there are not many options to extend the cables. The company only offers a 10ft extender. More options for longer cables would set this charger apart from the others.

This is a must have item for a military 24 volt system the charger is a 4 lead so each 12 volt battery is floated even.
