My old chair mat was thin, cheap plastic that was almost disgusting. I saw the commercial for one of these and figured it had to be more money than I was willing to pay for a chair mat but after finding this one, I figured I would go ahead and splurge on it. I think the beveled edges are its best feature. I roll off the edge at least 2-3x a day and smoothly roll back on without issue due to the beveled edges. This is a quality product. It shipped nicely packaged (I saved my packing material for my next move) although it is quite heavy, it went into place without issue. I'm now able to smoothly move from one position to the next while keeping my floor protected. This was money well spent.

I was concerned that the 36x46 would be too small, but it actually works well for me. I have it on top of a rug in my office. The glass is thick and the beveled edges make it easy to roll the chair off and on (although it's a good enough size, that I don't really roll off). You should make sure to get rubber chair wheels. I had to purchase rubber wheels for my office chair, as I was afraid my original chair wheels would scratch the glass. Overall, very pleased.

We had to downsize homes and my husband’s hobby station is now in our carpeted living room. The chair used to be on a plastic mat that would bunch up and was ruining it. This 36”x46” glass mat works perfectly; it feels like your on hard flooring and the chair and pop outs slide effortlessly across it. The delivery packaging was great, be advised it is a solid quality piece so it is a little heavy.

This product is by far the best thing since sliced bread. I initially was skeptical because I could not imagine a glass mat could withstand the weight. That said, I started with a plastic mat from Staples. Needless to say it went right back. The weight of the chair alone put indentations which made moving around like being in quicksand. I thought I would give the glass mat a shot since the reviews were over the top. Much to my surprise the durability is unbelievable. It has a very clean sleek classy look unlike all the big box store sold mats. The beveled edge is one of a kind which makes it effortless to slide on and off. I purchased the smaller mat but once I saw how durable it was along with the clean classy appearance I ordered a larger mat. I will tell you the customer service of this company is top notch. I sent the seller a message and within a very short period of time he responded. I sent additional messages regarding the larger size on a Saturday and not only received a response from the owner but he offered his direct number to call with any questions. He and his staff truly know what it takes to run and maintain a successful business. They put the customer's needs on the forefront. If you are uncertain whether or not to purchase this product I can tell you there will be no regrets. As the old saying goes "you get what you pay for". This product is worth every penny and the bonus is impeccable customer service.

I never had a floor mat for chair at my home and it was always a fight between me and the carpet for moving the chair. This makes it so easy! I like the quality and makes me believe that the people who made this will love to gaurantee their product. I think I could have tried to start with a plastic or rubber mat first but I can imagine how slow those will be compared to glass.

I decided to go all out since I'm now working remotely full-time. I tried the caster wheels at my former office job on the chair I used there, and had to get them for my chair in my home office. Only problem, was I had a plastic chair mat on top of low pile carpet. Those caster wheels don't work on it because of the 'wheel ruts' in the carpet/plastic mat. Unfortunately, I had thrown the old wheels away, as well as the packaging for the new caster wheels I bought, so I bit my lip and purchased this expensive glass mat. Originally I purchased a $45 glass mat only to realize when you roll off of it, it's difficult to get back on. This one has the beveled edge so it glides pretty easy when you roll off of it. If you have the $, go ahead and get this. My only issue has been the wheels sometimes feel like they are stuck on something and it drags for a second but doesn't stop from rolling when I push myself. It's almost like there is dirt or something on my wheel or the mat. Or possibly it happens when the wheels turn.. Again.. it's not that it won't roll, it just drags for a second. I'm happy with the purchase and hope it holds up for this amount of $!! I've been real careful with it as I've had to put together a couple of cabinets and since it was way to heavy to move out of the way, I placed the foam that came in the package of the mat on top of it while assembling the cabinets. I'd hate for this thing to break!

All I can say is this glass matt is fantastic. I thought it might flex on carpet but does not. My office chair glides across it with ease and I don't hear any more creaking and popping from the old plastic matt it replaced. Love it. Oh, and the packaging was outstanding.
