Editing to say after treating mats as described below in original review, I can now lift my design off the mat without tearing. See 3rd photo. If you need a kid to sit still in church, or you want to cut leather of heavy vinyl or wood laminate these "light" grip mats may just be what you need. But if you want to cut card stock and get your design off in one piece, best wash it with dish soap in warm water and blot it dry first. These mats are stickier than fly paper. I've just washed mine and am going to try a cut again. I'll let you know how it comes out.

The media could not be loaded. I was on a roll finishing my sticker order until I get to page 4 of my print then cut… I flip it upside down as normal to remove the sticker paper and when I go to bed the may to remove my paper the mat literally snaps…. I’ve had my cricut going on 3 years, I replace my mats ever 6-8 months… I have NEVER had a mat break on me!

The original mat got a bend down the middle of it and would not lie flat. This mat works perfectly and the stickiness is just or even better then the one that came with th Cricut. Glad I ordered this one.

This is by far the longest lasting mat I ever had. But be careful the grip is like a strong grip but it last very long.

Holy cannoli these mats are sticky. The light grip is a bit too sticky so be careful if you plan on using it for paper/cardstock projects. But for the price these are fantastic!

I thought I'd save a few dollars by buying these mats for my Cricut but the paper I've wasted more than negates any savings. They're way too sticky, it ruins the designs when I try to peel them off. And for whatever reason, even when I turned the pressure up, I can't get the Cricut to cut all the way through the cardstock when using this mat. It's not my machine or blade because I bought Cricut brand mats and the cut worked just fine. I would not recommend these for cardstock, maybe they would be better for HTV or stickers.
