its crap bunches up collects dust. I am in a small space and roll back and forth between desk and table. the desk and table are butted up against each other. its still warped even with books time for a return Edit review again: seller reached out concerning the problem. I use this on HARDWOOD FLOORS NOT CARPET. Its designed for hard floors. Surface was cleaned prior to being put down. it doesn't lay flat as there are ripples in the mat. will edit review when the seller and I figure out the problem 2 star for seller reach out. The seller helped with fixing the issue I was having with the mat. I did raise the star to 4 as the product was dealt with and fixed. I was worried this would look odd in the middle of my office, but it doesn't. It's just a stark black pad underneath the chair and hardly noticeable as far aesthetic. I can definitely notice the difference in my rolling chair though, I can glide over this so much easier. It's great to walk on even with socks, not slippery, just a flat, thin mat that feels like it's made of quality material. When it arrived, it came tightly rolled in a box, and I was concerned I may need to weigh it down on the edges to get it to flatten out. They roll the mat in a way that hugs the ground, if that makes sense, so when you unfold it and lay it flat, gravity kind of takes over and by the end of the afternoon, the mat was perfectly flush against the floor in my office. This is a tough but thin chair pad. It does show up with a big curve in it due to packing, but throwing some books on it at the corners and it flattened out over a day. I think it looks great. I also use it as a treadmill pad as I slide out and in a treadmill at my sit/stand desk. The pattern I think strands out and looks pretty cool, it doe snot slip around when I am on my chair or even on my treadmill which is pretty impressive. ... show more
