This mat will need to be in the sun for a bit in order to loosen up, but it's really sturdy and perfect for on top of a hard floor. We put it under our dog's bed in order to prevent our wood floor from being damaged in case of accidents. It was easy to cut a notch in so that it fit the space perfectly. It is not padded at all, which we like. We used double-sided tape to get it to stick, but it didn't seem like it would slide around easily. Overall, a good buy.

I bought the mat when I was about to move into a new apartment with all hardwood floors. The day before the mat arrived the entire building flooded so I had to find another apartment. This one has carpeting. The mat looks great and I could tell would be terrific if I had moved into the apartment with hardwood floors. On carpeting, the mat simply cannot be used. It bunches up and my chair can't roll on it. My plan is to cut the mat and use it to put my PC and subwoofer on in order to avoid putting them on the carpet. I'll get a new mat for the chair.

The chair mat was all I expected and after looking at several product reviews before I purchased, it turned out as most had stated. The thing that concerned me the most was that some had a problem getting it to lie flat because of being rolled up. I found a great way of helping with this. I took mine out to my patio and placed it on the concrete in direct sunlight. The heat from the sun softened the material so that there was no waiting period for uncurling. The one thing that it don't like about it is that it does "crawl". When I roll my chair under my desk (while sitting in it), the mat will "crawl" under the gap between the desk and the floor. The upper surface may indeed be "anti-slip" but the bottom part WILL indeed slide on a laminate floor. So, just as I have with other chair mats, I have to pull it out from time to time. It doesn't do this near as bad as the harder material chair mats. I guess I will have to place something between the mat and my desk to close the gap.

It's beautiful, stays in place and works perfect. My only issue is it comes rolled up and the edge has a hard time staying down because of this, eventually I am hoping it will smooth out.

I have this under my home computer space, which I am occupying mostly when I am not at work. I have wood floors and product was easy to install. My only low rating is for ease of cleaning. The finish does not allow for a clean sweep/vacuum. It generates a static field, so hand washing is only way to get clean.

Love this mat for my office, and it sits well on the hardwood floor, however it isn't a non-slip mat. I've had to temporarily put part of my desk on top of it to keep it from sliding until I can get some grippers. Seems to be easy enough to clean, my Dyson didn't have issues with it.

So I had an issue which was on my side with the mat. My ding dong brain decides to try to put the mat under my already setup desk. Went under nicely and I didn’t scratch it even though I thought I would. So durability is getting a solid check right now. It’s a bit thicker than I thought (in a good way) and the design pops a little but is subtle enough to not off set my desk. If anything changes I’ll update the review but so far alot better than a cheaper $25 mat I bought a year ago from somewhere else.
