This is the second clear tempered glass floor mat we’ve bought from this supplier. The first, purchased several years ago, was the perfect size for our carpeted bedroom office and has remained durable after plenty of use. I expected this to break MINUTES after I put it down on the carpet and started rolling a desk chair around on it. It's been a month or two now and it's still going strong. Having a giant slab of glass on top of carpet seems like a recipe for disaster but this thing has help up really well so far. It doesn't seem to flex and although it's kind of scary to walk on, it's been pretty awesome. I'd buy another.

This glass floor mat completely changed how I feel about sitting at my desk. I was tired of those cheap plastic mats that sink into the carpet and make it hard to move. With this one, I glide effortlessly—sometimes a little too easily! The 36x46 size is perfect for my setup, and even when my chair rolls off the edge, it’s never cracked or chipped. It has a bit of flex, which gives me confidence it won’t break under pressure, and it’s way more affordable than the name brands I’ve seen advertised. Cleaning is a breeze, and it looks sleek in the office. My only small gripe is that it slides a bit from all my movement, so I end up readjusting it each morning—but that’s a minor trade-off for how well it performs. TBH, the plastic ones did it too, and more. Easily one of the best buys I’ve made for my workspace.

Very pleased with the glass chair mat; upgrade from plastic to glass well worth the added cost. On the down side, product was delivered WITHOUT the detachable anti-skid pads advertised with product - disappointing.

A wonderful find! My wife has a similar large floor mat for her desk. But I required a smaller size due to the location of my desk. Then we found this one, the perfect size. I had prior types of desk chair mats that didn’t work out. One had like a heavy cardboard backing behind the thin Berber carpet which tended to slide, and visiting family members pets thought it looked like a pet pad :-(. We replaced that with a rubber backed upholstered mat that would shift and trip people. This one has none of those issues. (I did notice that our Roomba got confused trying to ‘see’ the floor as in crossed across, but just an amusing anecdote, not a real problem. It remains in place. It stays clean. It does NOT trip people walking near my chair - like others have. It looks sharp and clean, it is sturdy as I weight over 300 lbs.

The media could not be loaded. I was a little afraid to purchase this mat but after reading the reviews, I decided to give it a try, and I am not disappointed so far. The Mat has not slipped and it’s still in one piece. If anything changes, I will update this review.

This is a well made, very reasonably priced chair mat. Just be aware though that you’ll be sliding around a lot if your floor isn’t level, given how smooth the surface of the mat is. In that case, I’d recommend a PVC mat.
