I received the chair and the packaging seemed a bit meager, but when I opened it up it was all inside and nicely arranged. First I noticed it had all the parts and the required tool nicely collected in a blister pack, with a few spare parts (always nice). The instructions and assembly were amazing. Two pages of pictures, almost no text. It was clearly labeled and easy to understand, this is the first piece of office furniture I have assembled that went together so smoothly. (I have assembled a LOT of furniture.) All the bolts lined up, and were easy to access and tighten, they even had what looks like lock-tight on them. The person who designed this has either had to assemble quite a few themselves OR listened to people who did. I was able to assemble it by my self on my dining room floor in about 15 minutes with nothing extra provided by me other than a knife (or scissors) to cut tape and open the blister pack or parts. (I have a bad shoulder and a hernia... and with a bit of planning I could do it without issue.) The chair was significantly lighter than other chairs I've owned rated for this weight, but despite the lightness seems incredibly sturdy. It does not wiggle or flex in any weird ways or seem to have difficulty with my weight. Then I sat in the chair. It was great. This feels like the first office chair I have sat in that is actually intended for large people. I have owned a few that were rated up to 400llbs or 500lb but they always seemed to be built for people who were smaller but wanted big chairs. This chair seems to fit my proportions nicely. I have only been sitting in it for about an hour, but it is already my new favorite chair. For those wondering I'm 6' tall and about 365lb, and the chair is comfortable, sculpted nicely to fit contours of my type and so far the padding seems to be more than adequate to not feel pressure points in any one spot. As I've only owned the chair for about two hours my experience so far has been great. As I use the chair over time IF things change I will update my post. But so far... best chair for me... ever. As a side note I did modify the chair slightly. I replaced the stock wheels with a set of smooth rolling wheels so as to not damage hard wood floors. I don't know if the wheels it came with would or not, but I had a bad experience with my last chair, so I just put fancy wheels on this chair to start with.

Nothing to dislike about this chair. Exactly what I was wanting. Heavy, wide and sturdy. I like the large size, even though I am average size. I love the luxurious material, and the back is high enough that I don't get whiplash if I fall asleep. Nice for a quick nap. Fairly easy to put together, even for me. I would advise you to be careful when you attach the metal plate to the underside. Make sure the handle sticks out on the RIGHT side, not the left, like I did. When I sat in it, the chair would tilt to the front rather than to the back. I thought this was odd, and not very useful. Then my husband came home and showed me what was wrong. He turned the metal plate around like it should have been done. Duh. Seriously, you would love this chair.

The chair itself once assembled is great. Tip: Place chair on its side to put the arms on, much easier to get some flex to put the screws in. The shipping box is weak for a chair of this size and weight. When I was carrying it up three flights of steps (Thanks FedEx) it was falling apart and was already open at the top completely. Company should use higher grade boxes/tape as it was only fortune that allowed all parts to be present. Will update as I use it. But worth the cost and even though I'm only a bit over 220 and 6 feet tall, feels very supportive.

This chair is very sturdy, comfortable, and easy to assemble. The chair I replaced was about 12 years old and the fabric was still in good condition but the piston that adjusts and holds the chair height was completely shot. The new Clatina chair has fabric-padded metal arms. The legs and leg assembly are also made of metal. The height adjustment piston is rated to support 400 lbs. and it adjusts smoothly. The seat and back padding is thick enough to be very comfortable. The plastic casters move easily over carpeting. The seat is extra wide and allows for my legs to change positions easily without feeling cramped. This is a great chair and, although I weigh ‘only’ 200 lbs., I recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-built chair for doing desk work.

This isn't a rickety office chair you worry about breaking - This is a like a "single serve Couch" that will wow you with how comfortable and sturdy it feels. The difference between standard chairs for normal folks and this one for us larger folk is simply amazing. My old "Normal" chairs have always had that weak point that I knew my big butt was going to wear out. This one doesn't. It really is what it claims: It's wide, sturdy and comfortable. If you're like me and like to sit on your leg (I know we shouldn't, but we do) this chair has the room for it. Will update if anything changes, but I'm totally in love with this chair so far. (About me: 6ft 350ish dude)

Update: I exchanged a few emails with their CS, and they said they would ship me a new chair. Im very happy and impressed. All taken care of inside a day. Great Customer Service. Bumpin up one star for now. We will hope the new one doesn't have the same problem. I am a little dissapointed with the chair after I finished assembling it. The assembly was very easy, and the time was a little under 20 minutes by myself. It seems sturdy, and was pretty comfy. My problem is that the seat back is uneven. There is a noticable 1 inch gap on the right side. It is like the metal plate that comes out of the seat back is twisted. I did a little measuring, and it looks like the metal bracket is not centered on the back of the chair (see photos). It is off center by 1 inch left to right, and 1/4 inch up and down. This causes the chair to lean a little to the right. I've been down the "little bit now, a whole lot later" route, and it didn't work out for me. Lol. Quality control is a must. I contacted the seller and I am waiting for a response. Will update when its situated.
