We purchased a split king which consisted of 2 twin bed bases. Each base features a usb port located on the side of the base. Unfortunately when the bases are placed next to each other to be split king, one of the usb ports butts up to the other base, so is useless. There is also no way to secure the bases to each other. We contacted customer service and she suggested that we use plastic zip ties (Not included) to fasten the legs together. The remote is ok, it would be nicer if the buttons lit up so you could see them in the dark. There is a flashlight button but that's not much help. The massage function was a waste of money, unless your idea of a massage is to be jiggled and vibrated. It is nice to have the zero gravity and TV options, although I find that the TV position is too upright for me, but that's easily adjusted. I had high hopes for the anti snore position, but unfortunately it doesn't work on my husband. ☹️ Assembly was pretty straightforward and instructions were ok. ... show more

I've had the king size for a month now, and I love it! My husband was amazed at the power of the massage feature. We bought another brand from a local furniture store and it was $1400 without the massage or USB features. It was well worth the hassle of the return. The only thing that disappointed me on this one is that the USB is only located on one side of each frame, so the left side of the bed doesn't have one because it is on the inside of the two twin frames. We bought this bed in December 2018. The control box for the right side failed within six months and we had no luck trying to get a replacement. The left side control box then failed within two years. Basically, this bed works for maybe 6 months, after which it only works partially until it ultimately fails. Non-existent customer service.     • Don't Order a Split King
I ordered a Split King adjustable bed base for my mother, because she is older and is afraid to use her credit card for online purchases. When the bed was delivered it was two twin XL bed frames. The Twin XL base goes for $489.99 so two of them would cost $979.98. The Split KIng I ordered was $1,239 for a difference of $259.02. When I contacted the company, Deal Shopper Pro, and asked for the difference refunded they refused. Buyer be ware, I should have done more research, but being as that it was for my mother and she wanted a Split King, I ordered the Split King received two Twin XL bases and wasted $259.02. Don't be me. Also, because the USB port is only on one side of the frame, when you put two Twin XL frames together only one bed will have access to the port, as the other side will be buried in the center. ... show more

My older parents purchased a king split in July 2019. About a month after they got here and was assembled, they started to complain about a few issues with the bed. Do you to living in a different city, and then the pandemic, I wasn’t immediately available to come look at what the potential issues were. I was just able to safely see them for the first time in over a year and they mentioned that they were still not crazy about the bed frames. Come to find out, it would seem that they were shipped two of the same sides which would leave me to believe that they were sent the twin XL‘s as opposed to a king split. This makes a pair of the USB ports unusable as it is buried in the middle. There’s also no option to bracket the two twin XL‘s together so in the middle of the night the beds will split apart as they move around in their sleep. So while I realize that it’s too late for a return or any type of fixing this situation, I would highly advise any future buyers to review what they bought as compared to what they received both as you take it out of the box and as you put it together. ... show more

    • Don't buy your base from a matress company!
I swear, a lot of the reviews of this adjustable bed base, must be from competing companies, trying to steer people away from purchasing. I bought two twin XL bases , to make a king size bed for the wife and me, and both set up and work perfectly. The quality of the components are good, and the assembly is minimal. No paring was neccessary for the remotes, it worked flawlessly as soon as I plugged it in and put the batteries in the remote control units. The legs were made from a solid ABS plastic material, and were no trouble at all to install. This base is a bargain considering what the matress company wanted to charge for the same thing.
