  • A really good adjustable bed frame!!
Size: Queen Style: Classic Adjustable Base
A quality product, heavy duty, well constructed. It fit within my existing bed frame perfectly. The remote is easy to figure out and stores several settings. The operating noise level is really low. The assembly is very little, mainly the legs that are adjustable. The weight is a little on the heavy side, and the size makes it a two person job to unbox and set up, at least for me. ... show more

  • Great bed base for the price!
Size: Queen Style: Deluxe Adjustable Base
I just got this bed base yesterday and I'm giving it 5 stars at this point. If anything changes, I will edit my review. I was a little skeptical after reading some low star ratings, but for the price I was willing to take the chance. It looked like the parts could easily be replaced if needed and there is a 3 year warranty on the bed. I called customer service at 877-707-7533 and it is a working phone number for Classic Brands so I felt pretty confident. As with anything ordered on the internet, you take a chance. Also, if there are electronic components or motors I am not surprised if something malfunctions. Review: I really like this bed base for the price (Queen was $496.07 with tax and free delivery) and I researched a lot of them. Being able to adjust the head and foot positions is truly a luxury that everyone should enjoy. It adds the ability to be comfortable for sleeping, watching TV, meditating, typing an Amazon review, etc. The other plus was being able to remove my Queen panel bed headboard and frame. I have a small bedroom right now and I think I gained about 1 foot of space at the foot and 4 inches on either side of the bed. We placed the bed base about 1 inch from the wall. Granted it's not a wall hugger model, but the price was right. I previously bought a bed base with a mattress from a mattress store that only had head incline and I paid more for that 6 months ago. That bed base went into the guest room and this is the replacement. The reason that I chose to be economical is because I really want to replace my queen size bed with a split king size bed. Since that will be very expensive, I decided to do this first and this will become a guest bed in the future (a very nice one for a guest!). The bed base was delivered in the window that was set. The box was in great shape and I chose to have the box delivered to the room of my choice (no additional charge) and asked the delivery people to place the box in my hallway upstairs. My boyfriend is much stronger than me so he took charge of putting it together. Normally, I handle mechanical assembly, but I was cooking dinner. He had the bed frame together in less than an hour which tells me that the instructions were very good. The only thing he said is that it is very heavy. I helped turn the bed over and place it in position, but I don't see that as a negative. I want a solid piece of furniture that is going to hold around 300 pounds (two people). Remote: 1) I'm noticing that the "Head Up" button sometimes takes a harder push, but I'll just request a new remote if it becomes a hassle, but I'm finding it difficult to search for replacement wireless remote. I can probably find a control box and wireless remote combination eventually. 2) I got a manual that was for a different control box used in my bed base. The instructions say to press and hold the red reset button to program the Zero-G, TV/PC, and Lounge button on the remote, but I don't have this button. I googled program Classic Brands wireless remote and found that my "gray" control box is programmed differently. It's actually, much simpler to program the remote with this control box. All I had to do was get the bed in the position that I wanted and hold down the button to be programmed plus the "flat" button at the same time. I heard a beep and I was set. USB built-in: Nice feature! I plugged my phone into one of the 2 USBs and placed the phone on my night stand. I think a pouch on the side of the bed would be nice to store the phone, remote, and/or tablet, but I can customize something and place it where I want. Massage: I didn't buy this bed for the massage feature and knew that I would probably dislike it and I did. Some people will like the vibration feature and that's exactly what it is. I find it very annoying and I can hear it vibrating downstairs which is actually kinda funny. It reminds me of the vibrating hotel beds from the 70s, but I'm sure some people will love this feature. Adjustable Legs: Nice feature! We have it on the highest level, but will probably take it down because it's much more comfortable to watch TV while looking slightly up. I have my TV mounted a little higher and tilted down so that I don't have to tilt my head forward to be inline with it. Bottom line: This is a good price for an adjustable bed base with many features. If you are resourceful in Googling issues that arise you will be fine. In all honesty, I figured I would just buy a replacement motor after the warranty if needed. These bases are really not all that technical and they have linear motors that I can probably find on eBay, Amazon, or a compatible replacement. ... show more

  • After research, I picked this one!
Size: Full Style: Deluxe Adjustable Base
After 3 months of research, I picked the Classic Brands w/ massage for a few reasons. I was looking at beds from Overstock, Wayfair, Walmart, Costco and the mattress stores in town, it was Black Friday sales, and I finally decided on this one on Amazon. I picked this model due to the clean look of the upholstered frame & the height of the legs, no platform blocks needed. Due to a small bedroom, space is a big problem, so I needed something high enough to store many items underneath. I knew that the platform blocks I usually use are out due to the massage feature. After assembled , I measured 11 inches of storage from floor to bottom of adjustable base, and the base is about 3.5-4 inches before the mattress. The only problem I have w/ the bed is that the USB plugs are only on 1 side. Again, with the super small space, I need to have the bed against a wall on the right side. So the USB plugs are against the wall & not usable. BUT, that is not a deal breaker. I decided to purchase an adjustable bed after being diagnosed with arthritis in my lower back & tired of sleeping w/ pillows under my legs. This adjustable frame allows me to lift legs up (letting my lower back "release" during sleeping) and lift/ raise head without using 3 pillows. The massage is not really a "massage," more like a vibrating bed. Yes, like the beds in certain motels that cost 1 quarter! BUT, after the vibrating feature stops, I can feel a difference. For this reason, I would spend a few dollars more for the "massage" feature again. I will have this bed for another year or two, while I am renting this apt, but after I leave apt the bed will be going into my old room at my mother's house...for when I visit. One more thing, I couldn't decide between a wall-hugging adj frame or this one while I was browsing frames. The "Wall-hugging" frame moves up the back wall, allowing for the person to stay the same distance from their nightstand. This frame lifts forward pushing you closer to the end of the bed & this makes my nightstand slightly out of reach when fully lifted. Not a big deal, but the next adj frame I purchase will be a wall-hugger. I was also looking for a new mattress during those 3 months of searching. Due to my back, I wanted a firmer mattress than what I was currently sleeping on (a plush spring Sealy mattress) in the range of a 7-8 out of 10 on the firmness scale. I did NOT want the sink-in feeling & heat of a normal memory foam, but I had to find something that was adjustable bed friendly. After narrowing it down, I choose the 10 inch Lucid Hybrid w/ Latex foam. This is the mattress w/ the green stripe around the zipper. I was going back & forth trying to decide between the 10" and 12" mattress, but ended up picking the 10" inch so it can bend better with the adjustable frame. I am very happy with both of my purchases! PROS: 1) High clearance for under bed storage. 11 inches 2) Vibrating feature is great 3) Upholstered frame looks great on its own 4) Head & feet adjust to to high degree levels. 5) Easy set up. I did it within 20 min. CONS: 1) USB is not on both sides, only right side which is against wall 2) When "head" is fully up, can't reach nightstand...it is now behind me. 3) Don't lose remote. No "flat" button on frame. There might be a reset button under frame, but can't reach/find. All in all, I love this bed frame! ... show more

  • Easy assembly very heavy
Size: Full Style: Classic Adjustable Base
This product was fully assembled and very easy to install. Only note is I’m 58 so my wife and I had some issue getting in place I suggest having a friend or family member capable of lifting to assist with placing it. The product worked beautifully after in place.
