I held off on these for a while thinking “why would anyone buy this when it’s the same price as the one for your full head?”. I gave it a try when I had a coupon for one at the drugstore for practically free, plus I had some white hair around my forehead. After I tried it, I’ve made a 360 turn and buy these even if they cost more than the full head box! LOL! The applicator brush makes it so easy and fast to apply to just wheee you need it, the full hair box always left me with some staining on my ears, neck and forehead even when I applied Vaseline and tried my best to not get any on them. I used to use the full head box even when I only had a few white hairs around my forehead, this caused my hair to dry out. This invention of just a root touchup kit is now my favorite! It's amazing how it really does blend in with the rest of my hair color. I even have highlights, so the root coloring looks really nice when it's touched up. and honestly: I think that all hair color lasts about the same amount of time, whether it's done at a salon or at home. My grey hair grows in quicker that the color fades anyway so.... I love this stuff. (I do wait longer than the 10 minutes on the box, though. I always wait 30 minutes, but when I do, I get COMPLETE coverage). It's worth it to not have to pay an arm and a leg for a touchup. ... show more

If you think you're damaging your hair with home coloring, try this Touch-up color. I put conditioner on the rest of my hair before parting and coloring. May feel awkward at first. You can have colored, washed and dried hair in an hour or less. Choose color closest to example. You may need to buy 2 boxes to be sure you can cover all roots. Open 1 first...then the 2nd only if you need it. Takes 1 minute to mix the color and conditioner together...last thing. Color has never stained my counters, wipes off...test this before you stary, ok? ... show more

I’ve purchased this several times and it covers well between dye jobs however it’s messy - it will transfer to pillowcases and your hands , hair tools etc.. I also think it pulls out whatever color is left on the hair and it looks even grayer when the spray is washed out . Overall good for emergency touch ups but not for daily coverup ... show more

This product is so easy to use! I use it between my salon appointments. I dye my hair black (natural have red/brown hair) and it cost me over a $100 each dye at the salon. This $14 dollar product gets me a few more months for not going to the salon and matches my hair color perfectly!
