I use thus product to touch up my roots between full dyes. I like the ease of use and only being able to dye just the roots to avoid additional hair damage. The blonde color does have a little yellowish tint to it however so I prefer more of an ash blonde shade.

I held off on these for a while thinking “why would anyone buy this when it’s the same price as the one for your full head?”. I gave it a try when I had a coupon for one at the drugstore for practically free, plus I had some white hair around my forehead. After I tried it, I’ve made a 360 turn and buy these even if they cost more than the full head box! LOL! The applicator brush makes it so easy and fast to apply to just wheee you need it, the full hair box always left me with some staining on my ears, neck and forehead even when I applied Vaseline and tried my best to not get any on them. I used to use the full head box even when I only had a few white hairs around my forehead, this caused my hair to dry out. This invention of just a root touchup kit is now my favorite! This was shipped in a plastic bag, and arrived with damage to Clairol box. Fortunately, the dye product was not punctured or leaking. I have used Clairol Root Touch Up #8 for years, and I love it! It is great to use in between salon visits. It should be shipped inside another box though!
