If you are naturally blonde like me and your hair LIFTS highlights within 5 minutes (yes I wish it wasn’t true) then don’t leave on for 25 minutes. I left this on for about 12 minutes in hopes that my light hair would turn darker. If I left this on for the whole time my head would’ve turned grey. You will be able to see what it does so stay by the shower. (If your hair lifts or colors quickly). I would say because I have very long thick hair I needed to buy 2 bottles but it did turn a darker shade. Not as dark as I wanted but definitely helped a lot. If you are like me and look very pale in the winter/spring going darker is always better. Keep an eye on it if you are going from very light blonde. I was a 10 and would say I’m now a 9…which is fine. Only reason not to give 5 stars is because it doesn’t color…at least for me… to the correct shade. My hair is still a little damp but this should give a good idea of what to expect :) Xx ... show more
