This cycle came sooner than expected and was easy to assemble. It took me about two hours to put it together but to be honest, I took some time away from the project. Overall, it is quite easy to put together. There are a couple of times it helped to have an extra pair of hands - mainly dealing with the mast and connecting wires but otherwise, one person can do the assembly. Once together, everything worked as expected. There are no specific instructions on using the exercise computer but it didn't take long to figure out. I love the ease of the up and down arrows, the seat is comfortable. I find the back very supportive and the seat is comfy enough for my 1 hour plus exercise time. The only issue I have with the machine is the tablet holder. It is angled, and I would rather have the tablet upright for my viewing pleasure. Right now, I prop the back of my tablet up to make it more upright. Overall, I find the machine to be sturdy, high quality, comfortable, and with enough resistance for my exercise needs. Plus its size fits in my office perfectly. I do wish it had a cumulative mileage feature. ButI would recommend this machine to anyone looking for a quality home exercise machine. ... show more

    • I think it’s a very nice product!
If your looking for a good recumbent bike then this one’s for you! The price is right & the set up is really easy it’s messy because it’s packed in styrofoam and plastic bags and cardboard. But it’s a very solid construction if you ask me ! I’ve had to tighten it back down a few times but that’s expected with a new bike just as it would be for an exercise bike! If your using it then it’s gonna put wear and tear on it. So preventive maintenance is how you keep anything in good working order ! I had it set up in about one hr and plugging in the neck and installing it was the hardest part because u have to shove the excess cord in before the tube goes down! But all in all I love it it has a cup holder & another storage slot plus a small shelf and a large shelf at the top for a tablet ! It has a plug in for your MP3 players or tablets so yes I absolutely love it and I’m trying to put 5 miles a day on it ! I miss some days but working in my garden makes up for the days I’ll miss or riding my mountain bike helps on days I miss also! Neways I hope this helps you make a decision on this wonderful recumbent bike oh and it has so many workouts on it also you’ll love it to because u can pause it and it will shut down automatically! Plus when it does you just turn it back on and start and it remembers your workout so you can start where you left off or reset it and start over plus it has cool down mode! The only thing I was upset about is the console doesn't fit properly on the left side. ( The pic show how the right side fits properly and the left does not ) This was the second bike I had purchased on line. The first we got 3/4 Together to realize we didn't get all the hardware. That was a pain to break down and send it back. I think that's what stopped me on doing it again. Other than that this bike does have nice features. It has set programs you can choose how long you wish to do it, you are able to charge one devise from the bike. In the beginning it made NO NOISE but after using for the past month it is starting to make a swish noise but nothing to annoying yet. The seat is comfortable and easy to adjust which is nice due to the fact I have MS. So if it wasn't for the console and the slight noise, oh the foot holder on peddle does cone undone. But I think that's pretty normal my last proform I had did the same thing. I had that bike for almost 5 yrs before replacing I do hope I didn't make a mistake by not sending it back due to the console but as long as it doesn't come completely apart. I found it very easy to assemble except for the pedals which when applied in perfect form cross threaded anyway. I was at a loss as to why, but it unfortunately rendered the device unusable. I figured I'd call Marcy and plead with them to purchase new pedals and new crank arms, the crank arm was unfortunately not a replaceable item and the other was on backorder. Marcy's solution to this matter? I open my garage and I see a whole new bike. I have a love/hate solution to this decision because on the one hand I love that they did this, but on the other hand I feel that this is an absorbinate cost that they had to eat for what could have amounted to 30 bucks in parts. The least I can do is give them a review they deserve for not leaving a customer high and dry considering the circumstances. Many companies would have done this without blinking. The bike itself is comfortable, smooth and has no wobble unlike many other brands. The electronics appear to work great too. The ONLY thing I'd prefer is a not-picky thing: the space between then back of the seat and the back of the backrest is wider of a gap than I prefer and makes you feel slightly more reclined than what's optimal. But if you don't have pinges of OCD like me, you probably won't even notice. Great experience so far! Thanks Marcy ... show more

    • Great Product if you overlook...
Thus far, this appears to be a great recumbent bike. The physical functionality is great (sturdy, pedals spin nicely, magnetic resistance works great, and no noise). The logical (software) functionality is more complicated. The system refuses to accept my height & weight (which are within the prescribed limits of the bike) and errors at any attempt to input them. That being said, if you don't care about "personalizing" your experience and just accept the canned workout regimen provided, it works just fine (for example, I can select "Beginner 1, 2, 3, Intermediate 1, 2, 3, etc and it works great). It is annoying that it won't accept personalization for height & weight (and yes I have tried inputting varying height & weight just to test and it will not accept anything. Every imaginable combination errors out). That being said, it is not enough to make me dislike the bike or the purchase. It works great and fits the bill in all other capacities. Essentially, I don't need all the personalized bells & whistles because I am more concerned about just getting down to the business of working out (of which this bike is great for) but it would be nice if that feature worked as advertised. ... show more

I waited a few weeks before posting a review. I use the product everyday for about 3 hours (am hour after each meal) Overall, it was incredibly easy to put together. If you ever put a ikea item together, you can do this with your eyes closed. I do have some faults, but for the price--you can't do better. Some faults includes: -Pedal straps are annoying to deal with since they occasionally pop out. -Seat will usually make some creaking noise and will need to be adjusted every now and then. -The cable is on an annoying location and will make you trip if you put your bike in front of a cable port. Other than that, it's a good solid product that I wouldn't hesitate buying or recommending to a friend. Moving it is easy since it has wheels, but carrying it will be difficult so once built, don't expect to carry it up stairs alone. It can also charge your phone which is a huge plus! Like I said, if you want a reliable bike, I'd buy this. ... show more

    • Don’t buy this
The bike worked great when I first got it but you have to figure out the best way to use it on your own since the instructions are certainly lacking in that regard. Sturdy and sporting a very comfortable seat, this bike provided great workouts for about 8 months and then problems with the control computer began. The timer would freeze up and the resistance level would go up and down randomly. The infamous but unexplained E-7 code would be displayed which completely locked up the control panel until you unplugged it for five minutes or so and you could try to complete your workout until the panel would go haywire again after 10 minutes or so. I contacted Marcy customer service in December 2021 and in a few weeks I received a new control panel. After installing it the bike worked perfectly and I was a happy camper again….. at least for 4 months at which point the panel began going haywire again. I experienced the same timer stoppages, random changes in resistance levels and freeze ups accompanied by the aforementioned E-7 code on the display panel. The control panel then began operating “in reverse” which resulted in me having to push the opposite manual control button from what you’re trying to do. In other words, to increase resistance I had to push the button that is for lowering resistance and vice versa. The programmed workouts also were reversed by the control panel. I once again contacted Marcy customer service and theyadvised they would send me yet another control panel. Today, the bike completely gave up the ghost. The display permanent displays E-7 and all controls are completely non-functional. By the many 4-5 star reviews it’s obvious that it’s a good bike when it’s working but if you’re unlucky enough to purchase one with a defective control panel, you’ll be frustrated. I see that Amazon is now selling this for almost half of what I paid for this in 2020. Perhaps these problems are why. ... show more

Very stable, firm and quiet performance. Very pleased. Assembly guys were very good. Just used first time 50min and was great. Will update review in the future if opinion changes. Other reviews helped me choose, appreciate it!!! Update!!! After almost 3 months, bike pedaling started to make knocking loud sound!! Warranty expects me to open bike pedal box and figure out what’s broken! Claim under process, if no help will have to return (still under 3 months returning policy). Very upsetting, company doesn’t send techs to repair, only send parts but you need to diagnose and fix!! ... show more
