  • Great Product if you overlook...
Thus far, this appears to be a great recumbent bike. The physical functionality is great (sturdy, pedals spin nicely, magnetic resistance works great, and no noise). The logical (software) functionality is more complicated. The system refuses to accept my height & weight (which are within the prescribed limits of the bike) and errors at any attempt to input them. That being said, if you don't care about "personalizing" your experience and just accept the canned workout regimen provided, it works just fine (for example, I can select "Beginner 1, 2, 3, Intermediate 1, 2, 3, etc and it works great). It is annoying that it won't accept personalization for height & weight (and yes I have tried inputting varying height & weight just to test and it will not accept anything. Every imaginable combination errors out). That being said, it is not enough to make me dislike the bike or the purchase. It works great and fits the bill in all other capacities. Essentially, I don't need all the personalized bells & whistles because I am more concerned about just getting down to the business of working out (of which this bike is great for) but it would be nice if that feature worked as advertised. ... show more

  • Good but...
I would have given this 5 stars but... I got no documentation about the bike to help understand how to use it to it’s fullest capability. No website, no downloadable .pdf, nothing. You can stumble your way through but a little guidance would have Ben appreciated. It does appear to be a well-made piece of equipment. ... show more

  • Very nice recumbent for home use
Build time: From box opening to finished assembly, this bike took 1 hour 15 minutes. All nuts, bolts, and parts were included. Tools are provided as well. Build quality: This bike weighs approximately 110 pounds. It's a tank. The frame is very hefty. It states this can accommodate 300 pounds, but I doubt anyone south of 400 pounds will have issues. Impressions: Display: Functions well and has several programs. The display is bright enough to use in dark settings. Seat and backrest: The seat and backrest are not plush, but they're not uncomfortable. Both have an anatomical shape. You should be comfortable for an hour or more without issue. The angle of the seat and backrest is not reclined but also not aggressive. Overall, I've reviewed much, much worse. Seat adjuster: Adjustment up and down is easy. The pulleys the adjuster sits on are a bit taught, but it requires no more effort than pushing yourself back or pulling yourself forward. Once adjusted, the locking mechanism is firm and tight. I detected no slipping of the seat or side to side motion. If you're 5'2" to 6'3", you should be able to use this without issue unless you have extremely short or extremely long legs, at the extremes. Pedals: Greased properly and are taught but smooth at the bearings. A heavier grease is used, thus the taught pedal to hearing interface. They'll become less taught after 1-2 rides(grease will work itself around). Flywheel and resistance: Out of the box, they were properly adjusted. The flywheel is not overly large but motion is smooth throughout the stroke. Resistance is magnetic. It's also smooth and functions properly. Pulse readout and calories burned: Pulse and calories burned function. The moment you place your hands on the pulse, it reads. The moment the pedals start to move, calories read. Noise: Outside of slightly hearing resistance adjust or the flywheel to inner pedal bottom bracket interface while pedaling, this is entirely silent. Basically, expect a very slight mechanical sound at the cranks. Or to put another way, it's quiet enough to use near someone sleeping. Overall, though this is a review, if I'd purchased this, I'd consider the price in line for exactly what you'll get in this segment of recumbents. It's exactly what it should be, no more, no less. Basically, it's built like a tank and will give you plenty of exercise, it's just not and shouldn't be expected to be, gym quality. Recommended for home use 4 stars Cheers! ... show more

  • Seems to be quality for the $$$
Delivery today. Very easy to assemble. Another review said a million parts, 60 parts and that includes the tools. Easy instructions. Seems to be well worth the price. I will update in a couple weeks after using.

  • Pretty good, and available
There are other bikes I looked at online, like the Schwinn 230 and the Nautilus equivalent, but they were not available. I'm writing this in the midst of the COVID pandemic, and many folks have increased their in-home activities, including exercise.any such machines are currently out of stock. I found this here in Amazon, compared features with other similar bikes, and ordered it. I ordered it on Dec 24, and they said it would be here on January 4th. It arrived on December 30, so that was nice. Putting these bikes together is a pain, but it's pretty universal and usually only has to be done once. It was impossible for me to push the set slider handle on by hand, but I was able to hammer it on without damage **using a rubber mallet**. If you don't have one, you might be able to do it with a piece of wood and a regular claw hammer. Hitting it with pure steel would dent it and mar the finish. After I put it together and used it, it started making a worrisome knocking sound. It ticked once every time I cycled the pedals. On a hopeful hunch, I tightened the left pedal and that silenced it. For those who have never done any mechanical work on floor or street bikes, know this: pedaling the bike on the normal way (top going forward) tends to spin the left pedal off over time, so to counter that, on that piece only, tightening the inserted pedal requires turning it counterclockwise. After assembly, I moved it to it permanent position facing the TV, but I needed my daughter's help. I think the wheels are too small; they did not roll on the rug but they did roll fine on the kitchen linoleum. I don't care, because I don't intend to move it, but if you intend to move it from one spot on the carpet to another, know that this will be a real pain. It has good locations for phone, tablet, or drink, also an AUX sound input and a USB port. A dozen programs conveniently displayed and a wide range of resistance. I recommend it. ... show more
