This pan is a perfect blend of functional and aesthetic. The pan is very sturdy and transfers heat well across the base. The deep well holds a large volume of food and the nonstick coating requires very little oil and releases well. The lid is flat, but vented, allowing steam to escape and the blue outer coating is very modern and sleek without being too flashy. The metal handle is strong and sturdy. I don't often deep-fry, so I have not tried it with deep frying, but based on the depth of the pan, that should work well. This pan is not cheap, but it is well-made and should last for a very long time with frequent use. Would make a wonderful wedding gift for a couple who really likes to cook.

This is very beautiful and well-made pan. The higher sides keep your food in, and the nonstick surface is so slick that it seems impossible for your food to stick. The food still browns well even with the nonstick surface. The outer color of the pan is a deep blue, and the interior is a glittery cream. The pan lid fits snugly and has a small vent hole and a comfortable handle. The pan itself has a very comfortable handle making single-hand moving and lifting a breeze. Yes it is a little pricey for a single pan, but it is worth it. I love this pan and use it all the time!

I am removing all of those non-stick pans from my cooking arsenal. I am done with the surface breaking down and going into my food. I am moving to replace my pans with all ceramic, non-toxic material so I was excited to try out this sauté pan. The pan is very elegant looking and has a matching lid. I really like that it has a metal handle so I can start the recipe cooking on the stovetop and move it to the oven in the same pan - less cleaning up! The deep sauté pan allows you cook larger amounts of food in one pan as well. I've used the pan now several times of the last few weeks and it's non-stick and easy to clean.

I ordered this saute pan because, my old saute pan had some pretty good size scratches in the bottom. It seems that no matter the cost of the pan, the pans only last a year or so, before they begin to scratch. I'm personally concerned about chemicals leaching into my food, so after they are scratched up a bit, I purchase a new pan. This pan seemed like a great solution. It is a great size! It has a capacity of 4.5 quarts, and can easily hold 4 to 5 chicken breasts. The sides are pretty vertical, so keep that in mind if you prefer a gentler slope. It also has a alternative non-stick surface. This is not your typical black non-stick interior. This pan has a non-toxic (according to the manufacturer) porcelain non-stick surface. This is the first of this kind that I have tried. Thus far, I am impressed with the non-stick surface. I have cooked several things in it, and it has had absolutely no problem with scrambled eggs or chicken breast. A small amount of fat stuck to the bottom of the pan when cooking the chicken breast, but I was easily able to wipe it out with a paper towel. As far as the recommendation to cook at a lower temperature, I honestly have not seen much of a difference here. I have found myself still cooking at relatively the same temperature, with no real consequence. You do have to be cautious of this pan, when putting it in the oven at very high temperatures. The pan is only approved up to 450°, which is a little on the low side. I would rather the pan be approved up to 500°. I'm not sure if I would use this under the broiler for example. The one thing I don't love about this pan is that it is coated on the bottom of the pan. I use a gas stove top, and after one use, the bottom of the pan already had black char marks. I think I would prefer it if the manufacturer left the bottom metal exposed, which is standard. Overall, I do like this pan. The non-stick surface works great, and I appreciate that it is toxin free. I do wish that it tolerated a higher oven temperature, but I can make do with that. I feel like it is a good quality pan.

We have not stopped using this pan since we got it. Multiple times a day and it has been fantastic! It’s held up so nice. Most of our pans look pretty destroyed soon after, but this one looks good as new after each use. Truly non stick. Love it!

This is quite the amazing saute pan. From the start it impresses; here are some of the highlights: -Durable -High quality craftsmanship throughout and overall perception of quality -Deep pan with high walls Certain products just have this overall air of quality about them, and this is one such product. It's a joy to use and I even enjoyed hand washing and drying it. Before using the pan for the first time it’s worth reading the instructions as it needs to be babied a bit. For example, it recommends using the pan on low or medium heat to extend the non-stick coating. Also, although it's dishwasher safe, the manufacturer also recommends hand washing with a mild detergent The pan performed well and cooked my meal evenly throughout. I did find that I will likely need to extend my cook times due to the low-to-medium heat recommendation. Overall the Ciarra Non-Stick Saute Pan is a thing of beauty. I really cannot speak highly enough of this product. Highly recommended.

I know this is not meant for searing meat, however it is not unreasonable to believe that one might do that with a sautee pan, but it does not do well at this. The nonstick coating does work well, and the build quality and lid are nice, but I feel that the price is a little too high for what this is. I think a price of closer to 100 dollars would be more fair.
