I recently got this Battery, and I wanted to share my thoughts on it. Overall, it's been a pretty solid addition to my setup. Pros: Affordability: One of the best things about this battery is the price. It's cheaper than many other lithium batteries out there, which is a big plus. Performance: It works well for me, especially for my 25-foot camper. It's able to power my appliances and devices without any issues, which is exactly what I was hoping for. Weight: It's noticeably lighter than typical lead acid batteries, which is a big deal when you're looking to save on weight for your camper or other applications. Cons: Lack of Heater: One thing to watch out for is that this battery doesn't have an internal heater. That means you shouldn't try to charge it when it's really cold outside. I purchased two 300Ah lithium batteries and they worked very well. However, after about 2 1/2 years either because of something I did wrong or a defect, they would no longer hold a charge. Through Amazon I contacted Chins, they asked me a few questions, then told me they were covered under warranty and within a week they sent me two new batteries. Now, I had paid $1500 a piece for them so I expected some consideration from the manufacturer but was blown away by their quick response and willingness to replace both of them and cover the cost of shipping them. This is the 2nd pair of 100 Ah lithium batteries I have purchased and I am not disappointed. While I haven't had time yet to fully test these units, I can say this, they were shipped to Alaska when no one else will ship me lithium ion batteries (not even an option). Not only that, the shipping costs were minimal. Typically most boxed shipments, especially heavier stuff, comes up with the container in pretty sorry shape, and occasionally internal packaging is a bit rough. In this case, the double packaging was exceptional, and the batteries look absolutely pristine. Not only that, but the outside of the cells look commercial grade, meaning clean, solid housing and terminations on point. The batteries came in apparently fully charged. My smart charger was only actively charging for less than 5 minutes, which is just a superficial charge at best. If they cycle well, this was money well spent. I use it on my bass boat for trolling power. Fished 7 hours with it and still had full power. I replace 2 deep cell batteries with this battery and it outperforms both of those. The price is a bargain. The weight is lighter in my boat and that helps with I use my outboard motor for the longer runs. Dropped the weight and gained the power needed. We bought this almost two years ago and have had plenty of time to evaluate its performance. We have a 400 solar panels on top of our RV and with this battery pack run our computers, NVR, WIFI, lights, never run out of power and it weighs a fraction of the lead acid batteries we were using before. It is a gem of a find and now our scope of camping experiences has broadened to just about any where we get sun light. Unlike lead acid battery we had before, it likes to be depleted down to zero periodically and so I never worry about taking too much power. In fact since it never runs low every once in a while I run my hybrid fridge on it to bring the charge down to close to zero. ... show more

After learning about lifepo4 batteries and watching tear-down videos I saved up enough money and bought my first 12v 300a Chins battery in 2021. I have now upgraded three more times, first adding capacity in amperage, then upgrading in voltage to a 24v DC system. I now have four of the same 12v Chins batteries wired in 2S2P for a 24v 600a system. Boy am I glad I did. Running a 3000w LF Sungold inverter along with a combined 400a C rate for these batteries, leaves me with no regrets to safely power all my loads: washing machine & dryer, dehumidifier, fridge, and various other items - all at the same time. I like the terminal layout, the ruggedness of the enclosure, and the fact that over the years the conformity of the build has rough stayed the same. I have not had a single problem with these batteries. The shipping was timely and the packaging was well put together on every order. Picture is with front panel removed. Chins batteries are on foam-board over concrete floor. above, is a layer of cement-board and then plywood for mounting. Victron smart-shunt wiring is managed when panel is installed (one for the battery bank, another for the inverter, running through a Cerbo-GX with a Vicrton 150/100 VE.Can SmartSolar charge controller).
