Works good for sand sifting/scooping, could be a little bigger, has some sharp edges where the wire is tacked to the frame. It is sturdy. If you use hemp bedding on your poop shelf like I do in the winter this will not let you sift the hemp out.

I clean my chicken coop at least once a day, and after trying many different options of scoopers and takes and shovels, this scooper has become by far my favorite. I like how it’s lightweight and the mesh is the right size to make it fast to clean up, but doesn’t let any of the smaller poop pieces fall through. The mesh size seems just right. I appreciate how it’s light weight so it’s not heavy or straining to clean up the poop, it’s just a fast whisk through the sand or PDZ to pick up the poops and I’m on my way. I got this 2-pack of chicken poop scoopers for our coop, and they’ve been a total game-changer. The size is just right.. not too big to handle, but wide enough to scoop bedding and droppings quickly. The sturdy plastic makes them easy to rinse off and disinfect, and having two is super convenient (one for the main coop and one for the run).
