For the price, this is an excellent helmet. I did a couple of test rides and compared it to my Neotec II helmet. I know that’s comparing apples to oranges considering the huge price difference, but I was pleasantly surprised at how well the JQF helmet performed. The JQF looks nice and fits very well. It is also fairly comfortable. It has two chin vents and a vent on the top. It also has exhaust vents on the back. The interior is really nicely padded and the contrasting red stitching looks great. The visor is very clear and at times I wasn’t sure if it was up or down when I was stopped. The visor will stay up when riding, even at higher speeds. The helmet is equipped with a quick release chin strap that is easy to use, even one-handed. Compared to the Neotec, this helmet actually seemed quieter. The engine noise was less pronounced and the wind noise was also diminished. The tradeoff, though, was that there felt like there was less airflow in the JQF, even though it has more vents. It was definitely hotter than the Neotec. The other thing I noticed is the visor shake at higher speeds. Once I hit 70mph, everything looked like it was shaking. I never noticed that with the Neotec. When I changed helmets, I paid more attention to it and I did notice it with the Noetec also, it just wasn’t as pronounced. At the current price of less than $70, I think this is a great choice, especially considering you also get a second, tinted visor.

I'm not sure what happened, but I tried ordering a size small for my daughter and wound up with a size large. Finding helmets that fit me is an absolute crapshoot. I have anywhere from a 7-5/8 to 7-3/4 hat size. I have one of the elongated Nordic skull shapes that can make finding a good fitting helmet difficult. Surprisingly enough, this helmet actually fits! I would say it's on the snug side of fitting, but it's wearable for me. Feature wise, it's packed with some nice touches. It has adjustable vents in front of the mouth and one just above the visor. The back of skull has vents, but I don't see any way to open or close them. The visor also has the ability to open just a crack to allow air flow. The visor can also be quickly detached from the hinges and swapped with the included tinted unit. It appears you'll have to drag along a visor if you want to swap between them. The helmet also has a quick attach/detach chin strap that works as it should. I'm glad this thing actually wound up fitting me. It's a good unit for the price. The ones without graphics are a little cheaper and would be a great value!

This is a very snug and good feeling helmet. For the price I wasn't sure, but it's actually not bad. Now, I would still like to get an AGV but for now this one feels pretty good and I can use it as a spare when I upgrade. So, the padding on it is pretty cushy but I do have a bit of a pressure point on the crown of my head and by my temple when I have been wearing this for an extended period of time. However, while I'm riding I don't notice it. It's just after I take it off. It's still way better than the old junky helmet I've been using. As for looks, It is a pretty classic look so I can't complain there. My leather suit goes well with it and I'd recommend this to someone who doesn't want to break the bank, but needs an anti-noggin smushing device.

For the price, this helmet checks all the boxes: padded interior, secure chin strap, and low wind noise at highway speeds. The matte black finish looks sharp, and the ventilation keeps things cool even on longer rides. DOT approved and feels dependable.

For looks and price, this is spot on. I love that it came with the extra visor. The design for the helmet sticks out and looks great. As for helmet weight, this was light compared to some of my other helmets. Which is always good when you are out riding for hrs on end. the padding for it was decent for the price, but i feel it could be better. it did have a slight pressure point on my forehead, but that can be remedied easy. My main issue with it was wind noise. if you had the visor open, the high pitch whistle was deafening. I hated that. with it closed it was still a little higher than average for noise but within a tolerable range. This helmet though does not come with a drop down sun visor, which reflects in its price. This is not a big deal since it comes with a tinted visor. For the price, the quality is on par. Would i use it as my daily helmet? No. But for a ride now and then? sure. (as long as its not too hot and I can keep the visor down. )

Ok fitting helmet but doesn't feel quite as solid as my other helmet. I am currently used to a DOT and Snell certified helmet so this helmet feels a bit lighter bot it is at least DOT certified. My current helmet is a 2XL so I went with the same size and while this one fits it is possible the regular XL would be a better fit as this is just a bit loose but XL could possibly be too small. I really do like the chin strap design over the traditional 2 d-rings and a snap. The chin strap is easier to work and still comfortable. The black visor does limit you to only riding during full sunlight so I that is the main reason I went with 4 stars. While it does look cool, it could be pretty dangerous if you get caught out after dark for visibility. You can find replacement visors for the helmet easily on Amazon but I would have preferred it came with a clear visor. The helmet does have decent air flow without too much wind noise with the visor down. Overall it is a pretty decent helmet for the money but if you are often in between sizes, I would recommend sizing down.
