  • As expected
Size: 80"
The wood is definitely thin, but it’s as expected. Included pic of my rough collie for size reference. It’s small, also as expected. We sealed all the wood pieces before assembling. Assembly was pretty simple. We will add on fencing later for more area. Birds like it. Added a light inside for some heat since some chicks need another week to be fully fledged. Overall, happy with it. This was nearly half the price of anything at the local stores. Shipping was quick. ... show more

  • Light materials, so use a lot of varnish
Size: 80"
I really like the coop & it’s exactly what we were looking for. Wood is kinda cheap, but I covered it with 6-7 coats of sealer-varnish, so it should last a long time Only issue was 3 pre drilled holes were out of line. It was a 5 minute fix Other than that, I’m very satisfied with it

  • It’s ok
Size: 80"
If your in desperate need of a coop, this one should be a go to. But if you could build one I would. We have ordered three of these after chicken math hit us hard. Each one came different, by that I mean one was perfect, one was broken but could still be used and the other was just warped and we used the parts we could just to get the job done and a home for the chickens. We found them to be very small.. 4 chickens (small breads) could fit but it’s tight, when they are all in the same space at the same time. If you want to hang a light there’s not many places on it that allow so, and clamping on weakens the cheap wood. There’s also not a way to add in a heat source into the coop when it get very could without having to leave a little bit of a opening for the cord on the doors. The design and quality could be better. We recommend building your own. This will not be a product that lasts you for years to come. ... show more

  • Good value coup for starter people like me
Size: 120"
the instructions were not that good. we had to watch the youtube assembly video. that guy did a great job showing how to do it. the wood is lightweight and we also used 2x4's under the coup so it isnt sitting on the groud. we painted all outside facing wood. we used heavy duty deck paint. read some of the other reviews, as they had some good ideas. ... show more

  • ok for price, quality lacking
Size: 80"
This coop was easy to assemble and had clear instructions. Will it fit more than 3 full grown chickens, yes, but it'll be a tight fit. Better as a chick coop. Wood material is extremely soft which allows for the lightweight aspect, but it also makes it less durable. Will want to add stronger mesh if you live in a more rural area as any larger creature such as a raccoon or fox could easily push a hole into a corner with just a little effort. Top is heavy enough it won't blow away or be pushed off easily, but the center piece holding it together is very flimsy and I see falling apart very quickly if we remove repeatedly for cleaning, feeding, or retrieving chickens. Directions had a hand written edit on screws needed but then the additional screws were not provided for this edit. No extra screws provided for any section, sent exactly what was listed so take care not to lose or misplace any. Suggest nailing the collection box floor down and filling gaps with expanding foam. ... show more

  • What I expected
Size: 80"
If you read the description as to size and materials you won’t be disappointed in what you get. These little coops are perfect for my two pairs of hens. I will go over them with waterproofing and we’ll put tin over the roof and nesting box. Then when the hens get used to being beside each other we are going to hook them together and open the runs and have a wider run for them all. I like that they are coming out with extensions to make the runs longer also. They just need to make them all universal size and make it more clear as to which extension fits with which coop. All in all these are great for the growing population of city chicken farmers. ... show more

  • You get what you pay for
Size: 80"
At $150 if you have a problem with the quality of this coop then you're just being unrealistic. It's worth the money as long as you have a little common sense. I put it together in about an hour by myself. I did tighten up a few things while assembling it. I also didn't purchase this for adult chickens I got it as a starter pen for my coop ready chicks. ... show more

  • Exactly what I expected great little coop
Size: 80"
Really easy to put together I do however recommend watching a video on putting it together and the little pieces of wood that you don’t know if it goes on the outside or inside they belong inside they are for the tray to slide in and out
