Not very durable, but that would cost a lot more than this one. It takes some time to put together, though. It took me about 8hrs (as an old guy, all by myself). Still, good value for the money. If you're looking for durability, you'll need to build your own, or hire a handyman to do it for you.

Product came with box damaged, pulled everything out to make sure it was ok only to find that the nesting box, which was actually safely placed in the center of all the other parts and wrapped well, was broken with the aluminum or whatever metal dented in multiple spots and the metal popping in and out of the frame. I promptly called Amazon on the first 12 hours, where they directed me to the third party seller via Amazon messages. I’ve recieved very little communication and explained the urgency with this product and need for updates as everything goes along. It has now been 4 days with no responses so I have had to dispute the product with my bank as it is just a piece of wood sitting in my yard at this point. The directions are also janky and really do kinda suck. Placement of a lot of the screw holes were off as well, making the waterproof areas a lot less useful. Please use caution if buying this product and keep in mind it is pretty cheap material, I kinda regret not just building my own or buying one in a store

The wood is definitely thin, but it’s as expected. Included pic of my rough collie for size reference. It’s small, also as expected. We sealed all the wood pieces before assembling. Assembly was pretty simple. We will add on fencing later for more area. Birds like it. Added a light inside for some heat since some chicks need another week to be fully fledged. Overall, happy with it. This was nearly half the price of anything at the local stores. Shipping was quick.

Update: I’ve had the cage a year now. I still think it was worth the money. And I will probably get another winter out of it. After about three months, the screws that attached the pool handle to the sliding coop door pulled out from rot and had to be replaced. The nesting box tilting lid warped I no longer closes properly. I ended up attaching additional latches to the tilting egg box lid, and the doors. They made it a bit more secure. For the Missouri winter, I added extra hay and straw to the roof, and wrapped it with a tarp as a wind barrier. I also covered the coop door with plastic bag and duct tape so that wind wouldn’t blow in on the chickens. They wintered over quite well. Original post: I read all the reviews and they were right. The instructions left off a few things. The pull out tray is cracked across one corner. The roof cap has long cracks in it that I had to caulk. A couple of the frames holding the wire they were broken.. it took about five hours, but we got it together. I added extra latches to help make it more secure from predators. We also had to add roosting perches because they are not included. It is way too small for three adult guineas. It might be OK for four Banty, but they would be crowded. That being said, it is serving the purpose that I purchased it for and providing temporary shelter while I relocate my guineas. the guy who assembled it for me, said that it was not a waste of money, and that having the pre-cut, and assembled parts saved him time and effort because he didn’t have to find other tools and acquire all of the parts to build the cage.

This was hard to assemble the instructions weren’t clear enough. I managed to put it together, it looks cute but it’s cheaply made. I should have used the money toward custom building my own coop. I do not recommend this, some parts came damaged. I would have returned it but I already assembled it and it’s a hassle to break it down and to return it.

Was hesitant to buy we had currently had a wider one but……we bought it and we love it and more importantly Bun Buns loves it (our rabbit) We put lights around it like a little house making it more festive but so far so good have had it a few months now and so far no problems with durability.

I don’t like leaving bad reviews but I absolutely hate this coop. I got it so I could move my Seramas around the yard to graze but the design for the wheels suck, the whole thing is so flimsy that it wants to break when I move it around. You can’t leave your chickens inside while moving because you have to push the entire coop vertically to even hit the wheels. Nothing fit correctly, not structurally sound whatsoever, you need to use your own screws because the ones provided aren’t long enough and the wood was cracked all over with more cracks starting during assembly. It is super small, only 3-4 Seramas can fit. It was literally a waste of money. Image below is just one of the reasons I can’t stand this thing.
