I read all the reviews, was kind of nervous to buy but glad I did. It works great for my expanded flock and went together easily. The water pooling in top of the tarp is pretty lame but easily fixed. I found it to be well designed otherwise.

What a POS!! The roof pole collapsed after it rained on it for the first time. I tried to get a replacement part but Amazon wanted me to send back the entire thing. I am not taking it apart after assembly took hours. Cheap junk I should have known.

Simple setup with two people. Took us a day and a half, 12 hours total to get it setup. It’s not the strongest setup, but within an existing run, it does quite well. I’m not looking to keep anything out because the outside fence does that. But, I seriously doubt that this would work as a standalone structure. Absolutely worth the money. Easy, but time consuming, to put up. To avoid water pooling on the top, we just put several boards under the tarp before fastening it. Creates more shade and stability as well. When cutting the chicken wire, we allowed 12 extra inches on the ground, and buried it under dirt and logs, to make it more predator proof. We also hung solar lights and have a motion sensor light, to deter them. Only issue is that we ran out of zipties and had to buy more..Overall for the price and size, it's a great purchase. ... show more

This coop is a good size and actually too big for two chickens. But the little house I got for them fits well inside. It easy to put the frame together by yourself. But not easy to do the chicken wire. The chicken wire is cheap and breaks easy when putting it on. This did take two people. Total about 6 hours. I did go around the bottom half with window screen to reinforce the coop. I added a ring of brick around the inside and sunk the coop into the ground a few inches. ... show more
