I bought this chicken coop heater in October , and it is still working very well. We had cold nights down to 15°F in NJ, and my chickens stayed warm and comfortable. No stress, no crowding, they look calm and happy. I like the foldable two-panel design. I can open it wider to heat a bigger area in my coop. The temperature settings and timer are easy to use and help save electricity. This heater feels safe and solid. It has anti-tip and overheat protection, so I don’t worry like I did with heat lamps. It is also waterproof, which is great for winter. Setup was easy. You can stand it on the floor or mount it on the wall. The price is very affordable for this quality. My chickens are happy, and I am very happy with this heater. I highly recommend it!

I got this for my senior dachshund because he won't keep a blanket over him and it's been a very cold winter. He LOVES it and it's perfect size to fit in the corner by his bed nicely and it gets nice and warm but not too hot so I feel comfortable leaving it on overnight. It has a 2, 4, 6, and 8 hour timer or it can run continously. If you have a senior dog or cat this is the perfect little heater for them.

This heater is perfect for a chicken coop. It doesn’t get overly hot, making it ideal for smaller coops. It’s a good value if you have a few chickens. However, if you have a larger coop, I’d recommend considering a larger heater. I really appreciate the safety feature that shuts the heater off if it’s tipped over. The wide feet help prevent tipping, and the option to hang the unit adds even more stability. It’s super easy to use, with just four large buttons. I also love that it folds in half, which makes storing it much easier.

I purchased 2 of these heaters specifically to use for a feral cat house as the mother is about to give birth and it’s 29 degrees outside and the description says safe to use with pets so they won’t get burned and one of the reviewers said it doesn’t get hot just warm so she uses it for her cats. But 250 degrees is definitely more than warm! It also mentioned using UL listed products. There may be some part in it, but this product is not UL listed at all.. The face of this heater gets to 250 very quickly and would definitely burn any person or animal that touched it. Reference: “An applied heat of 131 degrees Fahrenheit causes second-degree burns on exposed skin. Pain receptors overload and become numb at a temperature of 140 F. At 162 F, human tissue is destroyed on contact” It’s made from ABS which can be toxic when heated and there is absolutely no UL listing on the product, box, or paperwork. It also says it can be wall mounted but the back has a sticker that says “danger high temperature when operating”, would you really want that up against your wall? I am really upset. I really need to heat this space and this is the 3rd heater I have purchased that I would be afraid to leave unattended. I am so tired of all these companies claiming how safe their product is but when you get it you realize it’s not safe at all! Also it smells awful when you heat it up. There’s no way I would put this in a small enclosure with any kind of animal and especially not little kittens. They could be badly burned if they touched it. I have had it plugged in in my kitchen for about 15 minutes and the smell is making me feel nauseous. So aside from all the safety issues I wouldn’t put it in a small space for that reason too. I’m so disappointed and now I have to search for something else and wait again. The whole idea of a heater for chickens or pets is to leave it in during the night so they don’t freeze but there is no way I would leave this running overnight.

Using this in my sulcata enclosure for 'winter' in AZ. Works great, gets very warm and heats up a part of the enclosure. No light emitted so great for overnights. Just wish it had a power switch instead of having to unplug

Very nice keeps a steady temperature I got it for my feral cats so that they can have a warm place to come and eat or stay cuz we've had some real freezing weather it keeps a constant temperature in the enclosure and I like the fact that you can either screw them down hang it on the wall but the fact that it's not really raising my electric bill much and it's keeping a steady temperature for them I recommend it for any animals you have outside that would be in an area that need to be warmed and the price was really reasonable

Ultra simple (no switch). Measured power is about 150 watts. Feet are handy. Also works well under a desk, in front of a sofa, etc to take the chill off. Surface does get quite hot, but not enough to ignite fabric.
